How do we fix this?

Hello all.....

I just finished my protein and all babies are sleeping for the moment......
Wow.....lots going on the board right now.....HUGS and PRAYERS going out to everyone!!!!

One question......I look at the new pictures I posted, and think "wow.....you do look good..."  But can't help but be bothered by my numbers and I am not close to what I feel I should be by now.  Dr. C thought I would be 150 by November...will not see that I am sure.....How do we get these brains of ours to convert to our new thinking of life?

I look at myself in the mirror and am disgusted with my extra belly skin....plastics are a definite, but probably 3 years down the road.....

I am really struggling to stay on track right now....hoping some much needed me time this weekend will help.......

BTW......if I take a picture of the dress I bought to take on my cruise....can I get some honest opinions from you guys?  Really unsure of what it looks like on me....I personally feel like I am falling out it it....or bulging out I should say!!!!!

Off to get some more fluids in me.....

LOVE and HUGS to all......Holly

Sweet Holly,
Well, you may still be looking thru "fat eyes". I did and do at times- it is all a part of learning to accept the "new YOU". We haven't seen ourselves "normal" and so don't know what that looks like -for us! If your dress makes you feel beautiful, & others think/know you are, then wear it with pride!!!! Is it comfortable- do you feel special in it? Want to bring it to my house for a "fashion show", next Sat.???  PM me, anytime, I'm here for you!!
You are a beautiful young woman in my eyes.I am sure your Hubby thinks so too, and who's opinion is more important than that?!!!!

I have been at/near goal for over a year now and I still see that fat girl most days.

Don't fret over the numbers on the scale.  Go by your feelings or your dress size.  When we are heavy our bodies change to adapt to the additional weight.  For instance your bones grow more dense to support the weight.  Leg and butt muscles work harder and bulk up to move the extra weight.  So your "goal" may be to get into a size 10 but you won't weigh the same as you did the last time you were in a size 10.  Your body (bones and muscle) are more dense and heavier, but taking up the same amount of space.

I wear a size 6/8 in most things but still weigh 177 pounds.  Don't stress over the numbers.

I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
