It is Sunday~anyone up?
I couldn't sleep well last night and so I am up. Of course it doesn't help that Bill had the alarm set for 4:30 to go fishing. lol
I have my state park service today. I couldn't get the printer to moving for some reason and so I couldn't get the new sermon printed off. I thankfully had a copy of the old I did at church so guess what! Yes the campers are getting to hear the one on forgiveness. Maybe for a reason? lol
I had a long talk yesterday with Shawn. He told me that he always thought of me as the grandma of his baby. He said that is why he said when he called that we were going to be grandma and grandpa. I told him that I didn't want to overstep my boundaries and so that the baby would find a name for me. I am leaning toward TuTu which is Hawaiian for grandma. That way none of the other grandma's get their nose out of shape~namely mother Linda! I told him that love knows no bloodlines and he agreed with that. He didn't know what Bill said to me and he appeared upset when I told him. I found out what started that crap too. Bill's cousin who is a person who like upheavel in every ones life told Bill when he told him about being a grandma and grandpa that he was a grandpa and I was the step grandma. He admitted to Trudy that he started that and Trudy told him that he started something that almost didn't have a good ending. He said that he was sorry. He told Bill and I that he was sorry too and took the blame for it. So that is water under the bridge now. I am glad that it has turned out well. Bill is the type of person that if someone puts a idea in his head it just stays there and dwells on it. That is what happened with this idea. I had a talk with him. I am hoping that he stops doing that. I told him that the next time might not be as good.
I guess I had better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up too. Special ones are going up for those in need of them. Have a wonderful day and say a prayer that the park service goes well. lol
I am glad that things have been sorted out between the family over the baby. And, yes, the sermon that you are doing today, on Forgiveness, is more fitting than anything. We each need to learn to forgive everyone.....especially ourselves in certain cases. We are, after all, only human.
Have a wonderful service today. I miss going to church because I am working Sundays again, but one of these days, I will get to go back on a regular basis. Say a prayer for me as well, please! I just need a few unmentioned......you know, the usual ones.....Money, money, and patience! LOL
Take care, Brenda. Love ya!
You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
I hope you're all off to a good start of the day. We don't have much on the agenda for today. I get to take a shower this evening. Yay! I'll be glad to get all of this yellow disinfectant off half of my body. Who-ever did that part of it, got carried away with it! I think the bleeding finally stopped. The incision line wasn't bleeding profusely or anything..just some. About what you'd expect from a cut finger. Bill about had a fit because I changed the bandage before the 48 hours as per instructions (What it said was 'Leave outer bandage on. After 48 hours, it can be removed and you may take a shower.'. In a 2nd instruction though it said 'Keep covering clean and dry'...I don't think 'blood' is either one! and in a 3rd instruction it said 'Some bleeding is normal for this type of surgery'....so..I changed the gauze and kept it dry...

I have a batch of sliced tomatoes about done in the dehydrator. They are SO yummy! I sprinkle them with basil-infused canola oil (pampered chef) and then sprinkle my Italian mix on them (Italian seasoning, fresh dehydrated basil, Parmesan cheese). Gourmet muncher done cheap! LOL! I think I have enough ripe tomatoes for another batch. I tried some eggplant too but I don't care for it so I'll probably just freeze it.
I hope you all have a good day today!

brenda so glad you got things worked out. its rough being in the : step: part of a family because we dont feel that way. but this baby will find a word for you and it will be special. my grandson calls jim papaw but we arent married but jim has been around since his birth. the rest of the family both mine and my ex's havent said a word ( we are lucky) but i know that if they did we would just be like look he started calling him that we didnt pu**** so deal with it.
forgiveness is a wonderful thing so doing a repeat is not a bad thing. it must be " ment to be" someone must NEED to hear it again or you would have found the other.
to everyone else have a blessed sunday its a day of rest and family.
