LaChelle...French Lick this weekend

LaChelle,

I, along with hubby and kids, will be going to French Lick weekend and I was wondering if you will be working. I probably won't spend much time in the casino since my kiddos will be with us, but I might slip away occasionally when I can. I will keep an eye out for you if you will be there.

Also, any pointers for where I should try to eat? Or any other tips, information, or fun things to do in the area are welcome too!

Hey Melissa I am not LaChelle but if you like Mexican then Miquels is the place for you! The food is good and not expensive either! Then there is Chicago's Pizza and Sonic too if you like fast food. Of course LaChelle's hubby Jimmy works at Sonic so maybe you could help with his job security if you go there! LOL! You know there really isn't muchelse worth eating at unless some restruants in the hotels which I don't know anything about. When are you going to be down there? I am coming down on Sunday for a wedding reception! I will only be there a few hours this time though. Hope you have fun! I don't know if the water park thing at the new hotel is open or not. Not to much for you kids to do now but there will be soon! Oh almost forgot the DQ is there too! Well talk to you later! Michelle

Thanks for the reply Michelle. I didn't mean to exclude you, but LaChelle was the only person I could remember that lived in the area. I don't know the area very well as I've only been there once!

Melissa, I will be working both Saturday and Sunday. 9am-7pm both days. I will be in the dice pit, dealing dice, so feel free to look me up! You can also ask anyone in the tables area where I am, and they will be glad to point me out!

Like Michelle said, Miguels' is the best Mexican resturant around!!! They are very reasonable too. Chicago's has pretty good pizza, and they stay pretty busy. There is also a Dairy Queen just in case the rest of the family would like that instead of the Sonic.

We have several events and things for kids to do now also, so make sure you check that out as well. I don't know your children's ages, but there is something for kids of all ages!

Feel free to call my cell when you get closer, or text me if you want to! I will be looking out for you! Can't wait till you get here!

Thanks LaChelle. I'll make sure to take your cell# with me so I can contact you if I can't hunt you down. I figure the kids will spend as much time as possible in the pool (and walking through the hotel checking everything out).

We haven't been to a Sonic in years...and I don't think the kids have ever been. We will have to make sure to stop by there and give Jimmy some job security! LOL!

Hey Chelle,

GRANDMA is coming too!!! I am so excited!!! The girls are 4 years 1.5 months.. PURE SUNSHINE.. unless it is naptime and they are melting... Ron and I rented a room and will be in the pool with the girls and I will probably sneak away too... just to try my luck...
