I am currently seeing a endo at St. Francis on the Southside.  He is good but isn't real hip on the WLS.  Also my ob is at St. Vs and my surgery will be with Dr. E at St. Vs.  So I think I would like a wls friendly endo up at St. Vs.   Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this will hel*****t but here goes...

If you're looking for a regular endocrinologist (RE), I'm of no help.  If you're looking for a reproductive endocrinologist I have the answer!

My RE was Dr. Gentry.  He has an office in Indy and in Evansville.  He is amazing!  He is a wonderful, Christian man who gives all the glory to God.  It could be very easy to get a "god complex" with the type of work he does, but not Dr. Gentry.  He also endorses bariatric surgery.  He was one of the first doctors to mention it to me.  His full name is Dr. William Gentry.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Jacqui,

Thanks for the response.  I'm actually just looking for a regular endo. Right now he treats my diabetes.   I already have an RE but thanks anyway for the recommendation

My endo is Dr. Zaidi. he's a regular endo and takes care of my hypothyroid & oversees my hypoglycemia. He's on Naab just south of 86th street (he's the 3rd specialist I have right there in that set of offices..lol). His # is 872-5159.

I just love all of the St. V doctors!

Thanks  My OB is attached to the Women's hospital, so I know where it is.
