I am 10 weeks out and I have had a few issues with vomiting in the past two weeks.  When I do it is always foamy.  What is up with that?  Can anyone help me out with this?

We have that a lot with the surgery. It is a lot of saliva and that is how it comes up. It isn't anything to worry about, or at least I don't think so. I get that a lot if there was a bite to many or in some instances a swallow of liquid to many also. That is what they call foamies too. Just in case you ever hear anyone talk about that.

Tracy,

If the vomiting is occuring durring each meal and you KNOW you have chewed up your food well enough, contact Dr. Gupta's nurse asap. You may have a stricture. A simple endoscopy can take care of that. Don't wait until you are dehydrated from not keeping water down either.

Thanks ladies!  I think I figured it out once I heard foamies was the name of it.  LOL.  I read several posts on here.  I do think I ate too fast lately.  And maybe drank too soon after eating.  I need to slow down and go back to basics.  I was doing so well, I got a little too relaxed.

I appreciate your advice so much.  Your friendship is one of the greatest assets I have gotten from this surgery.

God bless you.
