Well my oral surgery is in about 12.5 hours. I'm soo nervous but ready I think. I don't know for sure if I am but oh well.. I think that things will be okay with the vitamin K thing and everything should be a go. I was soo anxious I can't rest which stinks because i have to start fasting in a couple hours (I was told midnight but since I go hypoglycemic if I fast too long I can do what I need to til 4 am if I HAVE to). I'm such an insomniac lately too soo sleep is hard to come by.

Anyways.. I just had a huuuge non scale victory (NSV). I figured since I'm tense and just not having a good couple days i needed to find a way to relax. My nerves are a mess. Anyways I had a bath ice cream from a couple Christmases ago and I dropped it into a tub of ho****er with candles lit and I took a bath. It was awesome. Now I know it sounds dumb but I have not fit in a regular sized bathtub sitting down near comfortably since I was a kid. :) I even had room on the sides of me too. It was awesome.

Mistylynn....you made me cry. I just read your comment. I can soooo relate...I haven't had a bath in I can't remember. I would love to be able to sit in a tub with floating flower petals, candles and music...just lock the door and surrender...lol I can't wait to do that. I am so happy for you. It is amazing how much you miss when you can't do it. I miss sooo many different things. Being able to bend over and tie my shoes instead of leaving them tied so I don't have to ever do i****ching people swing and not being able to fit....turning sideways and squeezing through the bus seats enable to go on a school bus with my kids on a field trip and taking up an entire seat by myself. Oh god i was so humiliated!!!!!!!! Keep having those wow moments girl it will drive you on...I am so happy for you. I would love to go out for lunch sometime. My number is 812-352-7618 and that is my house phone I am available at night after 11pm. Through the day my cell is 812-592-6961..My name is Leah. Going to the Mall would be cool too. My friend Tasha lives in Edinburg..I think she said that she had talked to you before. Tasha is a wonderful lady.

Leah,

Just a note. You might want to edit this and take out your phone numbers. It's more secure to send them in a private message. If you leave them up here, anyone in the world can get on OH, and see them. Just an idea for you.

Congratulations Misty on the NSV!! It feels so good to have them. I think some people only think of victories as being only in the numbers on the scale. Thank heaven that isn't all we have to look forward to~it makes this ride even more fun!!

Good luck on the dental thing this morning. You will be fine.

that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Misty good luck to you today with you dental surgery.  My hubby had to have all his teeth pulled back in Feb due to gum disease.  He never had a cavity in his life and still lost all his teeth.  He did well, as I am sure you will too.  Hang in there and keep your head up!!!

Misty, you are in my prayers that all goes well today with your oral surgery.  Any kind of surgery is frightening, but you will feel so much better when it is over.  I have not attempted a bath yet, but that sounds like a fantastic idea especially a long hot relaxing one with scented goodies.  I had a WOW moment this past weekend at the KOA campground.  I could easily get into and back out again of the picnic tables that had the seats attached.  Couldn't do that 182 pounds ago!  These little victories continue to give me the assurance that I made the right choice in having surgery.  I will be watching for your updates after you are on the mend.  Karen
