Friday....At Last

Good morning all and good traveling to those going to the campout!

I woke up with a nasty case of tonsilitis...fotunately I called my Dr and he saw mw within 5 minutes!....One of the perks of small town living!  I have been taking care of my daighter who had 4 teeth cut out Wed and her son (4 1/2 months old)  all week for her. I am too old for this stuff! And working on top of it all! I just got run down and that is usually what get**** first! Anywho...I am on antibiotics....girls had first day of school ...and her has a new babysitter he started today and she is awesome!   If I didn't feel so bad I'd be doing my happy dance!    

It was wonderful to wake up to the cool air...beautiful day in store so enjoy all! Have fun at the campout!  

Good morning all!

I have an extra day of getting things together for the camp out since we aren't leaving until tomorrow morning. With Bill working afternoons we had to make it Saturday for us. I told Bill that I wasn't driving into a place I hadn't been in years in the dark. lol

I have to make my pudding surprise desert since it has to sit in the refridgerator for at least 24 hours. So I got to get that done but I have to send Bill for milk since I forgot to get it at the store yesterday. Duh! I would forget my head if it wasn't attached to my body!

I should do some laundry too but I am not sure if that is going to get done or not. It just depends on how the rest of the day goes. I have so much to do it is starting to overwhelm me. Bill cannot always be called the most helpful either. He seems to think that things get done by a magic fairy or on their own or something like that. lol It must be nice to live in that place~hey!~ I want to move there really soon. It sounds like a nice place.

Today is sunny and bright and the temps are suppose to be nice. I am so glad that the humidity is gone even if it for just a while. The gladiolas are blooming nicely. I know they said that they were lilies but they sure don't look like them to me. The glads are in orange and pink and I am not sure what other colors there are. I can't see them all. There is a bloom on the strawberry plant but a bloom not a bowl of berries make! I love strawberries and want more than a couple of them! I may have a smaller tummy now but I know it can hold more than a couple of berries. lol

I better get going. I have a bunch of things to do and not a lot of time to do them. I am sending love and hugs to all with my prayers going up for everyone and special ones for those in need. Have a wonderful week end and I will be taking my laptop too so you might hear from me.

Here it's our last weekend before Emily starts kindergarten.  Today I'm doing a cake (I do those shape cakes with the frosting) for a friend from church, so she's coming over this afternoon so the kids can all play and stay out of my way while I decorate a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle.  I did these all the time pre op, and this will just be my second post op. 

Tomorrow is an open house here in town for Girl Scouts, so I'm going to take Emily and check it out.  I'm thrilled with the forecast, as this is my hubby's weekend off...I want to spend some major time outside enjoying it! If we had the money, I'd be at the State Fair...I LOVE going, but it's just too darn expensive with gas (was much easier when we lived 15 minutes from the fairgrounds!), then rides and food. 

Hope everyone has a safe and fun time at the campout!  I would LOVE to be there with you, but alas I cannot.  Just remember I am there in spirit!!!  Have fun!

Just another gorgeous day here in the hills!  It was a nice brisk morning when I got off work, I had to turn the heater on in the truck! That just isn't normal for me anymore, but I froze at work all night long as well.........they had the AC on so much that people were having to leave just because they were so cold!  It was bad!  I got home and put my flannel pjs on this morning in hopes that I would warm up!  I wonder what it is going to be like for me this winter then!!!  I knew that I would be colder easier, but geeze.......I didn't think it would be THIS COLDER!

The girls and I are going to meet their new babysitter this afternoon.  She was highly recommended by a friend, and she is very reasonable in prices, AND can watch the girls on the weekends!  Talk about a big help there!  I just know that in this business, things don't always turn out like they are supposed to, and I may have to work longer than expected.......I just hope she understands.  The girls are excited about going to her, because they will have a different bus to ride to her house, instead of the one going home.  She lives only 3 blocks from work, so I can just pop over when I get off, and grab them.

Im so glad i dont have to hunt a babysitter anymore if you find one you like hang on to her.

We finshed cleaning out my parents store n lock and are off to the library today.
Tomorrow yard sales, school shoes and the movies,sunday putting new tyrods and ball joints in my suv...
