My packet says we shouldnt eat it at all. That it is a snack food and we are not supposed to snack. They want 3 meals a day, no snacks.

I would wait.. even after 3 years Popcorn has a tendancy to irritate my pouch.. those kernal husks that cling to the popped corn... MY Opinion..

My dad is 2 years out, and he didn't try it til after his 1 year surgiversary.  As Rebecca said, it's a snack, there's no nutritional value to it at all, so for now, no point in eating it.  I feel the same way...sometimes it's hard when I fix a bag for my kids, to not nibble on a few pieces, but I don't want to open that floodgate to sitting down with a bag of caramel popcorn and chowing away.  It's too important to get my protein in, then fruits and veggies.

My dr said that I could have it any time after 3-4 months.  As long as it is in moderation.
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

I had popcorn from about 9 months out with no problems. If you want to have it, in moderation, I would say to try to get a healthier popcorn, low in fat and salt. No 'movie theater butter', LOL! I use it for a snack every once in a while, but not regularly, because it doesn't have alot of nutiontional value.
