MY SURGERY IS A WEEK FROM TODAY

I HAVENT POSTED HERE IN A WHILE....BUT BEING THAT INDIANA IS MY HOME STATE... I WANTED IT TO BE KNOWN THAT MY SURGERY IS A WEEK FROM TODAY....

I HAVE ALL TYPES OF EMOTIONS RUNNING THROUGH ME RIGHT NOW....IS THIS NORMAL???

1.WERE ANY OF YOU NERVOUS/ANXIOUS?
2. AFRAID OF THE UNKNOWN?
3.OR WERE YOU JUST READY TO GET ER' DONE????
4. WHAT ABOUT YOUR SPOUSE/OR FAMILY?

I WOULD ALSO LIKE FOR SOMEONE TO VOLUNTEER TO BE MY PHONE ANGEL TO KEEP THE REST OF THE INDIANA BOARD UPDATED.....SMOOCHES!

All kinds of emotions:  Perfectly normal.   I don't remember being nervous just very anxious to get is done.  We are always afarid of the unknown. BUT our whole future is really unknown so I find it best to take charge and try to control my future as best as I can.  Having the surgery was a way for me to take charge of my life again.  My husband was more nervous about the surgery than I was.  Have faith in yourself, your surgeon and most of all God.  Good Luck and keep posting.

  EMOTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WHAT EMOTIONS????????????????????/

Just sit back and enjoy the ride.  It will be very bumpy for awhile but then it smooths out.  I felt all of those emotions before my surgery.  They are perfectly normal.  The first few months are the hardest but after 11 months and 140lbs,  I would make the same decision again.  Good luck to you and keep us posted.

Congrats and Good Luck!  I am very happy for you to get started on your new life.  I am still waiting for insurance approval but I am excited for you.  It will all be new and overwhelming and the emotions will probably churn around some more.  But stay focused and positive. 

I was also very emotional. Moody. I was not THAT afraid, more anxious than not.

Everything will be just fine!! Keep your head up. :)
