APPROVED FOR SURGERY!!!

Hey guys,

I know I havn't been over to the Indiana forum as much as I should lately, but I just wanted to tell my indiana crew that I was approved on August 1st!!!  Anthem mailed my letter out on friday so hopefully I can get it to Dr. Inamns office sometime this week.  So hopefully within the next few weeks I will have a date!

Congratulations on your approval. It feels wonderful just knowing that it is going to happen, and not even knowing when. You are on your way to such a wonderful life and you are going to enjoy it soooo much! Please post more often so we can get to know you better and you us. Just feel free to pop in and chat when you can. You are always more than welcome to join in. Again, congratulations and we will start dusting off the losers bench for you to join us shortly.

Congrats! You shouldn't have to worry about getting the letter of approval to Dr. Inman's office. The insurance company sends it to them. Shoot, Anthem never did send me a copy. They just sent it to Dr. Gupta's. Dr. Gupta's office was the one who called to say I was approved..and that was the scheduler who called.

Anyhow, hope we see you alot more on here!

Thanks so much Sherri!  That is awesome to hear.  I do have a question for you though.  When Dr. Inmans office sent my paperwork in they sent a Service date of 8/30-8/31.  What does that mean?  Did they just throw a date out there?  I was so confused!  And I know Dr. Inman is like booking for November/ December, so I don't think it will be 8/31..lol

Yeah..that;s just an arbitrary date. They HAVE TO put something down for the insurance company. They probably put the date so near on there to try to speed up the approval process some..lol.
