Hi Amy ,
Great news- 50# is gone- FOREVER!!!! You are doing wonderful!!! Keep taking the biotin, it does help. Also, congrats on the job! It will be a blessing to those you serve ,as well. I know we sponser Market Day here, & it sure helps with the food budget!
Your girls are the most important thing to focus on & I am glad you were able to financially wait till they go to school to work. My daughters both work, and have wonderful caregivers. Plus, I get to be the one who they call on sick/off days- so we get "girl time" too!

Thank you for your prayers, and I'll keep you in mine as you start the new job, and send the girls off for their new adventures in school!!!!
Love,
Ellen

Good morning all.  Not much going on today.  Just hoping to be able to stay on the comfortable side today.  It is supposed to be oppressive in the heat department today, so I am going to stay in some.....don't want to get overheated.

Have a safe day all. Take care and ttyl!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

I have missed so much this last week!  I'll be working all day just to catch up.  I had a card from my elf waiting for me when I got home.  Thanks!  It made me smile!

Our vacation was great.  The Florida heat and humidity were awful - but par for the course at this time of year.  Today's Indiana weather feels almost cool.  Hope everyone is having a great day.

We came home to a burst ho****er pipe in the basement so I turned the ho****er lines off and we had cold showers before church yesterday.  I got most of the piping replaced yesterday, at least enough to get a hot shower today.  I will finish the rest tonight after work and a stop at Lowe's for more parts.  I thought while I was sweating pipes I might as well replace as much as I could afford.  My goodness, the price of copper is outrageous!

Take it easy, y'all and have a good week.

Just checking in and saying Hi!! Kids are still here and we'll probally find something fun to do. IDK though because wherever we go has to involve walking to it and it's very hot out there today.
I'm pryaing for you all even though I don't post very much.

Linda, most times Social Security does deny the first and even the second time out. I think it is a wise thing to see an attorney for this. Some attorneys will not take the case until you have been denied two times, at least that is how they are up here. I wish you luck and you remain in my prayers. You just have to keep on trudging and God will point you in the direction.

Good morning fellow Hoosiers Losers. I hope that Monday is good one for everyone.

I am staying home today. I had a busy day yesterday and so today it is just for me to do what I want to. I like days like that and I don't have many of them.

It is hot, humid and rainy here today. I got up earlier and it was looking like night out there. I knew we were in for a storm and it surprised me that it only thundered and lightening a couple of times and it didn't storm it just rained. I was shocked at that one. It looks like we are going to get rain most of the day. Time will tell.

Bill took a few bags of stuff over to Goodwill this morning so that is that much more junk out of here. I am glad at that. I am slowly going through junk around here and I am finding that I am quite a collector of it! I am woirking on it though so I have to get some credit for that! lol

I guess I had better get going. I am sending love and hugs to all and I am keeping everyone in prayers. I say special ones through the day for all those in need of them. Have a wonderful day and make sure you stay safe!

Ellen, thanks for the hugs and congrats...I'm so ecstatic to have 50# gone forever!!

Thanks too for the prayers on the job front...I'm excited but not getting my hopes up, just in case there isn't a workaround for the training.  It's more important to me to be home for my daughter's first day of school.  I hadn't planned to return to wor****il next fall anyway, and just happened upon this opening, so we'll see what God has planned for me!

In other good news, Emily got into morning kindergarten!!! My dad just called with her bus info (which is another relief, she did get assigned to a bus), and her pick up time is 8:29am.  WOOHOO!! I was going to call the school on Wednesday to see what was up, and now I'm all set.  What a relief...I really needed her to be in morning kindergarten, Molly's signed up for morning preschool, and if I do get this job, I have to be available in the afternoons, but if I was meeting her bus at 3:30, it wouldn't have worked out.

Howdy my Indiana Posse!

Whewwwwwwwww, I need to take a breath here!  LOL  I have been so dang busy for the past 2 weeks! I have been freezing corn, blueberries, cherries, green beans and making salsa. I have 24 jars so far and probably will be getting another bushel of tomatoes this week to do.

Also, my son is in from Norfolk....it is WONDERFUL to see him!  I haven't seen him in the flesh for 2 years!  He will be here till the 12th then deployed on the 26th  for at least 7 months...maybe more.

We have a new toy...LOL  "ROCK BAND"!!!  All of us, Mark, Me, Zach and Taylor we all sitting in the living room last night acting like it was family music night!  LOL Between banging the drums, playing guitars, and singing...it was a HOOT!

SOOOOOOOOOOOO what do y'all think of the COLTS this year?  Did y'all watch the game last night? OF COURSE I have dual loyalty....The TEXANS and The COLTS....good luck to them both!

Amanda...I will get my salsa recipe to you sometime today.

Prayers and hugggggggs to y'all!
Janene

I am sitting at the library while Bella is playing and Terry took Tyler to drivers ed. I think me an her will grab a bite to eat in town while its just her and I. work is starting tio slow down and we have alot of new adults working.....Training can be such a tedious situation.
Sherri-hope you get answers and QUICK! Can't wait to see you this weekend.

Ellen- My mom and sister suffer from CLuster migranes and very very bad ones at that. I am thankful everyday that I do not get them because I see what they can do to a person. My mom had a headche once that induced a stroke and cause her to go temporarily blind.

Misty...Good to see you posting.

Lachelle....Hope your husbands new job works out. I know being in the rest. industry, we always need to Management and reliable mgmt. at that. You can really work your way up the ladder if he hangs in there long enough.
