Sunday Morning!
Hello all......what a weekend......
My Dh and another couple went to Patoka Lake on Thursday and spent all day on a pontoon boat. I was kinda dreading it, becuase I get motion sick, and am not real fond of boats.....But it went very well.....the lake was a refreshing temperature.....and I got to read...get some sun ans spend some great time with friends and DH. We tried to meet up with Lachelle, but she had a flat tire........we had a hotel in Huntingburg......we were so tired!!!!!
Friday morning we got up, had a quick breakfast and off to Holiday World. The couple we were with just found out they are expecting their first baby....so the men rode a few roller coasters, and Lindsey and I headed to get lockers and lotioned up at the water park. We had a BLAST!!!!!!! It was so nice being able to ride the big water slides with everyone.......the first one we rode....shaped like a cone...scraed the pee right out of me!!!!! Not how I wanted to start out.....but we had an awesome day........and it was packed!!!!!! We left there and drove to Owensboro to have BBQ at Moonlight......great food, and great friends.....
We started home on Saturday morning after breakfast......I was upset I didnt get to visit with Lachelle but we will definitely be heading back to Patoka...and the casino!!!!!!!
Picked up the kids from my MIL and brought them home for showers.....then off to Kokomo and Kohls for school clothes shopping.......have I said my ass is dragging by now?
Today was up early for church and then home foe running the dishwasher and four loads of laundry. Made thez kids try on all clothes in their rooms, and shoes....got a bunch for yard sale and then put up new schools stuff. Supplies are all bought, just a few more clothing items to pick up at WalMart......register them on Tuesday....man school is enough to break you!!!!!
Sitting here getting caught up on pc stuff....and going to bed early....
BTW, I booked a cruise for DH and I. Honestly cannot remember if I had posted it or not. Looking so forward to it......have evrything booked but a hotel in Indy night before our flight to Miami and our excursions we want to do while on the cruise.
Hope evevyone is doing well....still pretty frustrated with my rate of loss.....or non-loss!!!!! But i didnt realize until the end of the day at Holiday World that I had walked around all day in a two piece tankini and never felt like I needed to be hiding behind a big long t-shirt!!!!
