Headaches- results

Hi all,
    I heard from the Neurologists office at 6;oopm. last night. The results were pretty good. I do have left vertical crordid stenosis, with means blockage/narrowing of an artery, but it is something we can treat with medicine!! Since we didn't get the call till so late, I will have to call Mon. to get my perscripts for them. I use to have violent migraines, before menopause, & now they have other meds. for them.The headaches will always be something I will deal with, and I have to watch my blood pressure.I know that this is something we can deal with- no brain surgery as first thought.With God, all things are possible!!!!!

Wow Ellen!  Bet you were scared!  I had no idea the headaches were so bad!  But God is good!  Medicine is good!  Surgery is bad!  I feel so relieved for you!

I am so happy to hear that you received some relieving news! Glad to hear that meds should help and that surgery will not be needed! I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers! I sure have missed ya! I missed so much while I was offline! I hope that your spirits are eased a bit with this news! I know that it had to be weighing heavily on your mind! I am here for ya! I'm so glad you heard back from the doc. I hope those are fast-acting meds!! I hope your headaches ease up as well. Oh sweetheart, I have alist of 'hopes' a mile long, don't I? Just know that I am here for you dear sis and if you need anything at all..but especially a shoulder to cry on and a pair of ears to listen, I am just a phone call away.

Praise God for BIG Miracles!!! I can do ALL things... The meds will work!! You already know how to eat to keep blockages at bay and the meds will do the trick!! There is nothing like living with a headache!!

I am so glad that things are looking up for you. I know that migraines are awful but now they have an answer and they are going to do something for them. You are a strong woman (even though at times I know you don't think so, but we never varied from that) and you will get through this setback also.
