Saturday
Good morning everyone!
Woo-hoo! No work for 2 days!! I did get my instruments fixed that are in the chillroom. Let's hope that takes care of the problem and when I get there Monday, I will have found that they ran perfectly over the weekend! I asked for more starting material for Monday...so fingers are crossed! I would REALLY like to get a good run off of both instruments before the camp-out! That would just make my day. I had to do my mid-year PM (kinda sorta like a review..but to where you say what you want to get done for the year. Like it matters...you're gonna do what needs to get done regardless of what you may WANT to do!). Usually, they are initiated in January but since I wasn't here in January, my boss pretty much forgot to mention it to me at all. Then I overheard him talking with someone else about the mid-year being due by the end of July and it was 'oh shoot!'...so got it done. At that one, your boss has to write in how well he thinks you're doing at this point. I got back to work the end of April and other than a week or so on a major computer project & a few weeks trying to get through verifying a report of his, my time has been a total waste as far as I'm concerned up until here recently. He put such glowing things in my mid-year that you would think I was at 100% physically now and that I've worked my butt off every since being back. Every year, he has put me down as 'outstanding' on 2 catagories and 'excedes satisfactory' on 4..and ALWAYS on different ones. I guess I can't be outstanding on any category two years in a row..lol! This time? He put me as 'outstanding' on 4 and 'excedes satisfactory' on 2! So..I would really, really like for these darn instruments to start cooperating so I can start to feel like anything he said was justified at all!
What a busy time we have coming up!
Today: Jodi's wedding!! Woo-hoo!
Tomorrow: Taking our 7 yr grandson to get his school clothes.
Monday: I have the swallow dye, get x-rays test. It's suppose to take ~3-5 hours or so...however long it takes for the dye to get through the small bowels. I could use some prayers that this test will show what is going on with my intestines.
Tuesday: A dinner with some old friends of ours.
Wednesday: Appointment with Dr. Bergman. At least one of the places on my belly is almost closed! Woo-hoo! So one more to go...oh..and get the place on my leg drained..again.
Thursday: REALLY busy day! I'm taking it and Friday off. So when we get up, I'll be running to the store while Bill loads up the RV. At 2, he has an appointment follow-up with Dr. Price (eye). At 4, I have an appointment with Dr. Gupta (please pray for me over this one too. If there's no hernia, then it needs to be figured out what IS going on with my abdominal wall. ). After that appointment, we're gonna pick up Miss Gail and go to dinner (mmmm...Steak & Ale! Yumm!). Then we'll go to our house and give Gail the grand tour of the rv & let her put her stuff up. I'm sure Bill & I will have some last minute stuff to put in there too...we ALWAYS do! LOL! Then we'll sleep..in the house! LOL!
Friday: Up & at 'em! As soon as we get motivated, we'll be hitting the road to head for Middlebury for the camp-out! SOOOO very exciting! I just love visiting with my OH brothers & sisters! I know from the time we get there till the time we leave on Sunday is going to go by WAY to fast! And then I'll be looking forward to 2009's camp-out!!
Busy, huh? Gotta love it though!
But let's do today first...hmmmmm...I gotta go get a wedding card!
Have a terrific day people! For those who are going to the wedding, see you there!

Good morning, Sherri. I hope that today is a wonderful day for you. I pray that the wedding goes nicely which I am sure it will Jo is going to make a beautiful bride. She is beautiful woman both inside and out. She deserves all the happiness that you can shove into a life. Please tell her that I am sending love and best wishes for her and Matt.
I weighed myself yesterday and I am down to 193! I may have finally got through this hump in that problem. I hope so anyway. I am not sure what I am doing different though. I have to figure that one out. Oh~I am drinking more water. I made a pact with myself that I am going to drink 3-4 bottles of water each day. That plus what I take when I take my meds too. It won't be long and I will become a member of the century club. I am so excited. Just 2 more pounds. woo hoo!!!!!!
I have to post in my thread too since I guess that would be socially acceptable if I did that.
Have a wonderful day and I am sending love and hugs and special prayers to you. Can't wait until a week from now. It is going to be so much fun!!

Hi all! I hope everyone's set to have a great Saturday! We are going to go on a picnic as soon as Mike and Maggie get out of tae kwon do lessons at 11:30. I am looking forward to it. My inlaws, and parents are coming too. It will be nice to have a break and see everyone.
THen tonight, I have to work at Sears. Not terribly long though, only 4:30 to 9pm. I wish I didn't have to, but alas, duty calls. I am not one to call off unless I really need to.
