Well it's official.  Troy's company lost their contract at the plant.  The new company wants to keep him and wants to promote him.  The old company wants to keep him too but wants to transfer him to Chicago!  Either way, things are going to change.  The new company's insurance doesn't cover bariatrics or plastic surgery.  I'm fine with paying for the rest of my post ops out of pocket but I was really looking forward to the plastic surgery.  As far as moving to Chicago, well it sounds pretty scary to me.  I've only been away from my family while in college and it was only 1.5 hours away.  The thought of moving so far away from my parents really frightens me.  My parents really help us out on things...baby sitting mostly.  Since both of us work, our daughter gets off the bus at my parents' house until one of us gets there.  If she's sick, we don't have to take off because my mom watches her.  Summers?  You got it.  She goes to Mimi and Papaw's house.  I'm also pretty small town.  I don't even like to drive in Evansville because of the traffic.  I can just see me in a town like Chicago.  I've told Troy I'll support him in whatever he decides to do.  It's kind of exciting and I know he's flattered that both companies want him.  It's just the fear of the unknown.

Pray for us, ok?

Thanks guys.

Jacqui, honey, I will be praying.  The unknown is the hardest to get past. Jimmy and I had such a hard time thinking about moving to Indiana to begin with, because we knew absolutely no one here at all, and the girls needed stability.  The prayers will be coming either way.  It is good to know that Troy is wanted for either job.  And, I am glad to know that you are willing to stand behind him 100% as well.  That is always something to remember........no matter where you live, as long as you have each other that is what counts.  Good luck either way! Love ya!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!

Jacqui, prayers are coming for all of you!!! If you move to Chicago, this will be a huge adjustment for everyone.  Honestly, depending on where in Chicago the new job is, there are options for smaller towns that aren't too far away.  I grew up in a smaller town, but lived in Indy for 10 years and LOVED it.  I do understand that city living isn't for everyone.  We moved back to my hometown because my parents are here, and the girls love it.  Moving your kids away from your parents will be a major adjustment, and a lot to think about.  If the new company wants to promote him, that could be a HUGE bonus for you guys!!

Either way, God has a plan for you and will not forsake you!
