Im So dicouraged......

I was approved little over  2 weeks ago. I call and th eoffice tells me I have to wait another 2 weeks becouse they did not recive my approval letter until I faxed it yesterday!. I cryed my eyes out. It seems like its never going to happen for me. I have been doing this for almost 2 years now due to my insurace changing and having to start all over again this year. I love Dr E and dont want anyone else to do it for me......can someone cheer me up. IS this much time normal???  I started the whole process with Dr E. in June....I was approved over two weeks ago......

I am not very good at navigating this website yet. But I was looking at my page and trying to make it look like home. Like so many of your pages.

And I opened my email  and BRINGGGGGGG!! there was so many encouraging replys. THANK YOU!  Thank you! Thank you! And Mitch your right and sometimes its a hard kick in the butt for some people to snap them out of it......But all I needed was a soft kick! wink....lol
It calms my soul to know that I am not crazy or selfish and alone to be so impatient.  I want this more then anything in my life. I have lost 30 pounds, Quit smoking  and in stop smoking I have gained 15 pounds back.  I am trying really hard to stay focused and as healthy as possible befor surgery but its almost the longer time goes bye the harder it is to stay focused. So I guess I'm afraid to crash and burn per say. I am so glad I found this website. I'm addicted to looking at befor and after pictures...lol.
Dr. Es waiting list is 4 monthsssssss??? OMgoodness. My girl friend just had the surgery done bye him little over 60 days ago and . It took her 2 months after she got her date. 

Thank you again for so much support and encouragement I really needed it. And can anyone tell me how to make a picture under 20000 pixels so i can post a main photo?? lol

When we get our approval it's soo hard for us to be patient because you are soo close to being there. Keep your head up. Waiting on my date seemed like the longest part of my process even though it wasn't really. You'll be a loser before you know itt.

I was approved a week ago and got my surgery date, but it's not until September 10th.  I felt a little down because I've been trying this since February 07, but you will get the date, and this time between will give you more time to prepare yourself and start making the little changes now that will help you more after surgery.  I quit smoking 4 1/2 days ago.  I know it's bad, but I couldn't fully commit to a quit date until I got that approval, and I am resolved to make that change and have given up soda, next I work on the morning coffee.  I figure it will be difficult enough trying to recover with a toddler, adding caffeine withdrawal to that would not be good.   Soo, even though it seems like it's been forever, you've got the approval, now you get to start the next phase of prep.   Good luck

Now I was able to give up smoking a month ago....CHANTIX is amazing!...once you relize that the crazy thoughts and paranoya  is the pills and not you going out of your mind...lol. But it worked and I am one month cig and pill free.  POP has been hard for me I made a promise to myself that I would stop when I get  THE DATE!!!...You sound like your in my brain when you wrote this...lol

I'm sorry it's so discouraging for you. I was lucky, they got the acceptance before I did, so I got a call out ot the blue with a date. But when you're waiting patiently, for that call, it must be hard to wait. I'm glad you called to check! If you really want to stay with Dr. E., work with them, and they will get you scheduled and in for surgery.
