Yeah for you! I hate working nights, etc let alone swing shift!  I made the italian beef for dinner last night. My kids hate roast of any kind normally, but ended up fighting over who got the last of it! Thanks again for the recipe!

So glad they liked it.  I told you it was so easy to make! LOL  Now all you have to do is teach the kids how to make it, and then you have it made!  Mariah makes it once in awhile.....all I have to do is get the crock pot out for her, and she does the rest!  Talk about my little chef! Have a great day!

Yay!!! My husband worked swing shift for 11 years, and it wore him out...he's been on days now since February (took a total job change to accomplish that), but he's so much more pleasant...we had to get to know each other all over again.

I am so glad that the change went through and you are getting back to normal on days. Bill works straight afternoons Monday through Friday. I hate them but he loves them. He worked midnights for a long time and he was just a jerk in simple words. lol I finally told him that he either has to go off midnights or he wasn't going to have a marriage. He told his supervisor and got on another shift. I like it when he works days and then we can have a normal life. Have a normal dinner together and just sit and watch television at night like normal people. The end of August his supervisor is going on vacation and so he is going to be working days. I just tell him that he will live to tell the story. He isn't a morning person like I am.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
