Yay!! Approved and surgery date

I posted here last week asking for good thoughts and prayers and they worked. The drs office didnt send my information in until Wed of last week and today the Drs office called and said I was approved and my surgery date is August 11!!!

That is the day before school starts and is the perfect time for us.

Thanks so much for all the well wishes and prayers. I am so excited!!

Congratulations!!! That is less than 2 weeks to wait! No time to get nervous or anything!!! Just great thoughts and prayers going out to you!  Good luck! We will have a spot cleared off for you on the losers bench! Congrats again!

Wow how did it happen so quickly for you? Im so happy for you. I thought the waiting list was like 3 months??

I had to do my 3 month multidisciplinary, but there eviendently wasnt a wait on surgery date. Im going to a smaller bariatric center, so maybe thats why.
