Getting better after surgery.

Got through my surgery Friday.  Still have alot of gas.  I have been eating 3 ounces, they said I can have 4, but I think I get full after 3 ounces.  I am still not sure of the full feeling with this, when I think I am full my chest starts hurting a little, it that how it is supposed to be?  My stomach sounds like there is a lion roaring in there..lol!!
I weighed myself thursday night and again yesterday morning and I have lost 5 pounds.
My neck/jawline area is swollen, has anyone else had this happen.  I am thinking maybe it is the breathing tube they put down my throat during surgery?
Yesterday I got in 72 g. of protein and 476 calories.  I am on a full liquid diet for two weeks. 
Right before surgery he came in and asked what band I wanted, the Lapband or Realize band.  I didn't know which one to choose, because at my preop app. they told me he only used one kind of band, so I did not compare the both.  My husband suggested the realize since the port is supposed to be smaller, so that is the one i chose.  I just hope with a smaller port it isn't hard for them to give me fills.
The surgeon took pics of the inside of my stomach with the band around it, to me it looks like the band is filled some.  I am going to call Monday and see if he did put a fill in or not.

Wow Tameka, its sound like your starting journey off to a great start. I am the one that missed you at the hospital.

Thats ok, I am sorry for missing you at the hospital, at 4 they said I could go home, and I was ready to get out of there.  I just wanted to come home and get comfy on my recliner.  Maybe we can meet at the next clothing exchange.  What side of town are you from?  SW here.

Hi Tameka, I am so glad that things are going so well for after surgery.  You sound like you are doing good with the protein too. I don't know a lot about the lap band but I have seen the commercials for the Realize band and it sounds nice. Keep up the great work and you are going to see so many new and exciting things happening. Congratulations on getting on the losers bench.
