I reached my goal!!!

I haven't been on OH on a regular basis for awhile because I've had some family things going on.  But I wanted to let you know that I REACHED MY GOAL 2 weeks ago!!!!   YEAH!!!!!

It feels so good reaching it!  When I had my first surgery 11 yrs. ago, I never quite reached my goal.  It really feels like I actually achieved something for the first time in a long time.  I know that several of you know that feeling and the ones who don't know what it feels like yet, will soon.  It's such a great feeling!!!  You have something great to look forward to, so never give up on your goals and dreams.

I also got off all my meds, which is great also.  The only thing I have to take now are the usual vitamins, calcium, etc.  That was my first goal and that happened a lot quicker than the weight goal. 

NEVER GIVE UP if you haven't reached your goal yet, because you will!!!

You're welcome for the pep talk!  I just know how I had problems after my first surgery and it's so much better reaching my goal than coming close and then gaining part or all of the weight back.  It's not nearly as much fun.   LOL

Thanks Gail!  It really is great to be off all my meds.  I know that I was so disappointed the first time I had surgery (11 yrs ago) that I didn't reach my goal and it is so much better when you do. 

You look really great with the new photo that you have on here!  Are you feeling good?  Did you get along well after having hernia surgery?  I had hernia surgery in April with Dr. Huse (of course!) and I'm doing great!  He really is a special Dr.  He came in before the surgery and asked me if I brought that "thing" with me.   LOL
