how long did it take for you to find out the results of your preop testing?

I suppose the "no new is good news" applies to pre-op testing.  You may only hear if the tests reveal a roadblock.  In my case all tests were normal EXCEPT the gall bladder ultrasound.  I didn't know that it showed a problem until the morning of the surgery when Dr. Inman told me that she would be removing it when she did the RNY.  I asked why I wasn't told about it before hand and she said that it would not have changed the outcome (surgery for its removal was inevitable) and it would have only given me one more thing to sorry about.  She was right.

I don't remember ever hearing any results except right before surgery she said she was leaving my gallbladder because it wasn't bad.  So as was said, "no news is good news"!
