Thursday

Hello all! Happy Thursday. Not too, too much going on here today. My dog Molly has to go in to get groomed, then she's coming home with us. She can stay with us at the new apartment we got. She's been with my MIL for months now. I think she'll be good for my son, Mikey. I read an article on how good dogs are for autistic children. They were talking about service dogs. No way we can afford a service dog. But Molly's a good dog, and he had a bond with her. Otherwise, just a regular old Thursday!

Good morning everyone!

My appointment went well with Dr. Bergman yesterday. She drained the place on my leg again (which as usual, is already filled back up this morning). She decided to try something different with the places on my belly since the silver nitrate wasn't working. The stuff looks like angel hair but what Bill got a kick out of is that it is made from SEAWEED! LOL! Hey, as long as it works, I could care less what it is made of! The places do look better so far. The real thing will be is if they don't fill with gunk after they close up (and open right back up!)...which is what was happening with the silver nitrate. I go back to see her in 2 weeks this time.

Bill got his new glasses yesterday too..which he hates. They make the tri-focal part so big that it takes up most of the viewing portion of the lens. It's a little difficult to walk then especially at the strength his is at. He needs that part to be cut in half and them just leave the bottom half....that way, if he WANTS to read, he has to look down through it. Ah well, they are better than nothing I guess.

Bill goes back to see Dr. Price this afternoon. He's the eye surgeon. Hopefully, Bill's pressure will be down some from where it was last week. That's the only appointment today. Woo-hoo! Early night of it!

I went and checked on my two instruments. One is doing great..one leaked all over kingdom come! It must have a plug in it somewhere. Both are in the chillroom that is kept ~6 degree Celcius (42.8 degree F). So...I'll be in there freezing my butt off most of the day. Brrrrr! I love my job. I love my job. I love my job.

Good morning all, or should I say good night.....since I JUST now got home from work, and it is 7:45 AM!!! Uggh! I hate swing shift! LOL  Oh well, just wanted to pop on and say a quick hello before hitting the pillows.  Hope everyone has a great day!  I will try to be back on later today.  TTYL

Good morning to my IN board. Hope that this is a good Thursday for everyone.

Linda, I know that the nursing home that my mom was in used dogs for therapy. They realy helped out there. They were wonderful and my mom loved them. One looked like a dog we had and one time she got into her head that it was her Barney. She told them that they couldn't take him because he was her Barney. Finally they got her to understand that wasn't Barney. She so looked forward to the dogs visiting until she no longer remembered they were coming but she loved them when she saw them there. I am a firm believer in the animal therapy. I think it is wonderful and great tool that more places should use.

Today is another cooler one. Yesterday it got a bit warmer but it was still so nice. I could have a summer of weather like this. I love this weather!!!

Misty is watching the birds out of door and in her back 40. The birds are just a chirping and singing. That makes a nice summer morning to me. Just hearing them makes the day wonderful. Not to much misses her and her eagle eyes. There is times that her head just swivels from one side to the other. I have been calling her Misty MaGoo for some reason. Probably since she is so silly at times. I also don't know why I call her that since I always hated Mr. MaGoo when I was younger. I always thought that he was just stupid. lol

Visitation for the shut ins went well yesterday. They were so happy to see us. We had nice visits and enjoyed the afternoon. Tomorrow we are going to the nursing homes to see everyone there. Yesterday we saw 2 ladies and tomorrow we are going to see 3 more. One of the shut ins that we saw passed away last month. It felt strange not going to Ken yesterday. He was such a sweetie. I loved going to see him.

I am staying home today and working on my closet I think. I have to clean it out yet again. More clothes for the next exchange. woo hoo! I have had to clean the closet about 7 times already. I am so tired of cleaning it out. It seems like when I clean it out it shows me that there isn't as many clothes as the last time. lol At least I have something to cover my bee hind. So I can't complain and gripe about it! I would if the bee hind was bare. lol

I work in the church office on Friday morning. Jeri is taking the day off and she is going camping with her family. Personally I wouldn't do it but she likes sleeping in a tent. For some reason! Beats me. lol Fern is going to meet me up at the office at noon and leave for visitation from there. We are going to go and have lunch and then on to the nursing homes. I am not going to have much to do while I am up there so I am probably going to get to post in the morning. I like that part of it. I do know that some people are going to be up there. I don't like to post while they are there but once they leave I am on here again. I usually just stop posting when someone comes up since they want to talk anyway. It is kind of rude if I keep posting while they are talking. lol

Pastor e-mailed me last night and the biopsy came back for his dad. He has a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. The prognosis isn't good. He is going to have both radiation and chemo and Pastor is putting in into an extended care facility. He has to set up the transportation for the therapy and then he is coming home. He should be discharged from the hospital either today or tomorrow. Pastor said that he is going back to Ohio every week stay the night and then come back home. He is going to be so worn out. He has a lot of energy but a person can only take so much. I would appreciate any prayers that you can say for both Pastor's dad and for Pastor too. They are going to need all that they can get. Thanks so much.

I guess I should get going. I am sending love and hugs and prayers for all, with special ones going up for those in need of them.

GOOD NEWS- WE ARE GOING TO THE OH CAMPOUT!! I HOPE EVERYONE THAT CAN WILL COME!!!!! WE HAVE SUCH A GOOD TIME AND THE FUN NEVER STOPS!!  I JUST HOPE NOW DH CAN GET OFF EARLY, CAUSE IF NOT, WE WON'T GET THERE TILL LATER FRI. NIGHT.I HAD PUT MY REQUEST FOR THE WEEKEND OFF, & GOT IT, BUT THE MY NEW CO-WORKER DECIDED SHE DOESN'T WANT TO WORK ANY WEEKENDS- OH WELL, THE BOSS WILL HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT, KISS ME- I'M GONE!!!!!  

  
 I COULDN'T SLEEP LAST NIGHT, THE PUT ME ON PREDNIZONE BEFORE MY TESTS, AND I AM BUZZING!   IT ALSO MAKES ME MOODY/*****Y,SO I AM PRAYING HARD THAT I'LL KEEP MY BIG MOUTH SHUT! I HAD TO GET PRESCRIPTION BENADRYL TO TAKE SINCE I HAD A BAD REACTION LAST TIME- OH WELL, MAYBE THIS AFTERNOON I'LL GET A NAP IN. ATLEAST WE HAVE AN IDEA WHY I'M HAVING PROBLEMS. NOW TO SEE IF MEDS. WILL HELP, OR WHAT.ATLEAST ON HERE IF I STUMBLE ON A WORD OR SAY THE WRONG ONE, I CAN CORRECT IT- MY DELETE/BACK BUTTONS ARE GETTING WORE OUT THOUGH~HEE-HEE!  

OUR DAUGHTER IS COMING THIS WEEKEND TO SLEEP OVER IN THE CAMPER WITH THE KIDS, & WE WILL BE SITTING WITH THE TWINS SAT. NIGHT, SO I AM ENLISTING HELP FROM HER. THE GRANDKIDS WILL KEEP US BOTH BUSY,BUSY! OMG.   WILLOW HAS DECIDED SHE DOESN'T WANT TO WEAR HER UNDERPANTS!!! SHE PEES IN THEM- SO IF SHE DOESN'T WEAR THEM, SHE REMEMBERS- OH BOY, ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE FUN! PLUS, SHE LOVES TO WEAR LONG DRESSES, SO THAT REALLY HAS TO CHANGE.THEY HAVE TO GET HER BROKE BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS. SHE HAS A BLADDER CONDITION, & THEY DON'T WANT TO PUT HER ON MEDS. SHE DOES WEAR DEPENDS TO BED, BUT MAY HAVE TO WEAR THEM AT SCHOOL.

WELL DEAR ONES, OFF TO GET MY SHOWER AND READY FOR THE DAY. HOPE YOU ALL KNOW THAT I THINK OF YOU, AM HERE FOR YOU, AND LOVE YOU! IT SEEMS LIKE SINCE I HAVE STARTED WORKING THE DAYS FLY BY, BUT YOU ARE ON MY MIND. FOR ALL WHO HAVE HAD SURGERY LATELY, HANG IN THERE, YOU WILL GET THRU THESE FIRST FEW WEEKS & THINGS WILL GET BETTER & BETTER! NEVER GIVE UP HOPE, IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET APPROVED, MANY OF US HAVE HAD TO GO THREW THE FIRE TO GET OURS~BUT YOUR DETERMINATION WILL PREVAIL!! IF YOU ARE HAVING DIFFICULT TIMES,PLACE THEM IN GOD'S HANDS,SEND ME A PM. AND I'LL LIFT YOU IN PRAYER & SUPPORT YOU. SOMETIMES WORDS FAIL, BUT GOD NEVER DOES!!!

Hi everyone. Hope you are all having a good day.. The weather lately had been great.  Not much going on here.  Went out last night and rode my horse. I don't do that as often as I should. We are working on the yard again this weekend. My birthday is next Wed and we (my MIL & SIL) are going to Shipshewanna flea market for the day. (This is near were the Middleburry camp out is) The flea market only runs on Tues & Weds, I haven't been up to it in several years.  There are also a lot shops that are open everyday (exept Sunday) in Shipshe for anyone interested during the camp out.  I'm really looking forward to the camp out BTW.
Will we have a group carry in at some point.  DH was wondering if you did any planned activities? 
We are looking for a place to go in October.  Since it isn't Swimming and boating weather we need somewhere that has other activities and attractions.  Any suggestions. We had thought of going to Branson but may not want to go that far with gas prices.   Bye for now

It is so beautiful outside I am thinking of taking a walk.I seem to be restless these last few days.I try not to think of negitive things while walking seems to clear my head.
I have a daughter who is angry at me right now. I always feel bad when 1 of the kids are upset. I think me and Clark Gable are going for a walk (clark is our dog)Love to all.

Good Day everyone,

Sorry about not posting the "Getting TO Know You" Wednesday questions but.... I'm sick. I've got a severe sinus infection to where lifting my head up makes me dizzy. Then I have this cough that keeps going on and on till I can't breath and I'm peeing all over myself - even while sleeping. I've also been overwhelmed with finishing up wedding stuff since it's a little over a week till then. 9 days I think. I'm just slightly over stressed so please forgive me. My nerves are so bad that my doc put me on 2 mg's of Ativan. 

I really do miss not being able to do the questioniare thing. I feel so bad for letting you all down and myself. I doubt I'll be able to find the time to do one next week. So please forgive me. 

Working on the tiny details.... UGH. I'm so gonna need that bachlorrette(sp?) night next Thursday and hope I might get to see some of you before the wedding. Otherwise I know I will see most of you on the wedding. I'm so glad I get to share this day with so many of you. If you didn't RSVP by the date on the card but are still interested in coming just drop me a line and let me know.
