Friday Morning!

Good morning all.  I just got home from work, and wanted to pop in for a minute to say a quick hello.

I went thru all the extra clothes that I will be bringing.  Believe me, I am bringing more this time than I did the first time around!!!   I don't know if I am going to be able to fit it all in the trunk and in the back seats!!!  Woooooo Hoooooooo!!!

Hope everyone has a great day! I am going to get to bed and get some sleep.  Hopefully I will be able to get up early enough to pop in here again before I have to go in at 7.  TTYL!

Hello all! I'm so excited today! It's a particular day for me, as I weighed in this morning. Today I am officially 1/2 the size I was at my biggest, two years ago. Can you believe it? I'm half the lady I was then!!! What a great wow moment. As for today, I have to go to work. Of course. But it's casual day, so that atleast makes it a little more fun to get dressed. I have enjoyed getting dressed each day much more since losing weight. My clothes are much more fun to pick out. This evening I am going to bring my son's friend over so he can visit. Maybe we'll all go down to the pool again. That would be fun. We went last night. I really enjoyed getting in the water with the kids. I can't wait until our apartment's fitness room opens up.

Hey everybody!! Tomorrow is the day!! I am picking up Melissa and we will be there!!! I am looking for a size 28 bathing suit for my new exercise partner.. She is not a surgery patient but a dear friend who needs someone willing to work out with her... BOY do I KNOW that story... I would have liked to had her 3 years ago... Remember when we were at our biggest and didnt have a friend willing to help us and willing to go work out with us?? So anyone willing to give up a size 28 or even 32 bathing suit... I know someone who needs it.. aslo clothes she is willing to take some clothes...

Good morning all!
Had my 9 mos. post op visit yesterday and everything went fine.  Dr Gupta did say to not take my Prevacid and see if my pain comes back. If it does then she wants to scope me again to see what is going on.  So I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesnt come back. It did in May and I started taking my Prevacid again and it went away so we will see what happens this time.  I am down 125 lbs from date of surgery according to the dr's scales. According to mine at home I am down 127 lbs. but I weigh with no clothes on sothat is probably the difference.

Hope you all have fun at the clothing exchange tomorrow. I wished I could make it, but I have a birthday party to go to and I get to see my newest cousin. He is about 6 wks old.

Jenny you are doing so good.  I'm 2 1/2 years out.  I tried last fall to stop the previcid and ended up with terrible stomach pains so I went back on it through my PCP.  I just tried again this week to go without it again and got that same kick in the gut burning feeling.  So I started it again this morning and I'm felling a little better already.  I never had any heart burn or problem like this pre-op so I'm thinking I'm on Previcid for good.  I see my surgeon in Aug and I'll talk to him about it.  I thought the previcid was just a short term (1 year) and then I wouldn't need it. 

Dr. Gupta told me yesterday that usually within a couple months you shouldnt need it. I asked her if it may be that I will have to have it long term and she said yes it was very possible.  I guess our stomachs are mad at us for cutting them in two...lol

Morning all.....just checking in before I am off to work. After that I have an art exhibition by a friend of mine that is opening tonight. Never been to one but love his work! Hope to get home early so I can load the van for tomorrow!  LaChelle....if you want to put some in my van you are welcome to! Let me know!  Linda...I am bringing alot of 30/32 stuff with me...maybe she can use some.
It was weird packing it up. I was actually hesitant because I thought I may need it if I gain the weight back. Then I woke up and realized hell no....this weight is not coming back on my rearend. i have worked too hard and been through too much to get it off! I swear that voice in my head sounded like my mom!~

I don't even know what day it is when I work nights. I guess its friday,huh.

Linda, I have a swimsuit that is a 24/26 i think, I will be bringing to the exchange. Its a swimdress and really cute. Ill show you if you want to look at it.

I have a few bags to bring.I need to decide on what i am making, I want to make something summery and cool since its going to be so darn hot.

Terry and the kids are heading to ohio tonight or tommorrow so I will be hangin' out solo all weekend. (snicker)

Ty has football and then I need to take him to the SS office to apply for  his SS card for the bmv to get his permit. I don't know what i did with the darn thing. Then off to work again tonight. I really wish I didn't have to make 1 more Girl scout thin mint cookie blizzrd. GRRRR! Its a big ol' pain in the rear.

Good Day All

Today is the annual McInerney Family Camping Reunion in Michigan. Although it will be so nice to have a quick vacation before the wedding and nice to see all my relatives, it will somewhat sad as this event was something my dad started shortly after he was diagnosised with his cancer and then passed away. With the wedding coming up this just so happens to be another reason for me to miss him like I do. But - I'm putting on my happy face because I really will enjoy my time there and camping. 

I have two weeks till the wedding and boy o boy are my nerves raw. EGHADS! Just about everything is done that can be done other then on the last few days of the wedding. 

I hope everyone enjoys their time at the clothing exchange. Hopefully I'll get to attend the next one.

Jodi:  I'm sure the reunion will be sad without your dad but since he started it you can take great pleasure in being there for him to carry on what he started.  I'm sure it would have made him proud.  Good luck with the wedding plans. The next two weeks will fly by.  Hope you post some pic's of the big event.   You are such an inspiration with all you have been through.  I can't tell you how much I admire you.  YOU are the Woman!
