OK, Put my cel phone in my pocket and put on my shades ready to go. Got half way to my stopping point to turn around, a car full of teenage boys "yelled out" FATA**, I wanted to say something, and a guy doing some work on a home Yelled out "where's your manners????". That surprize me. The worker said he was sorry for that rude comment & wait till they get our age !!!!! I did keep on walking till I got home and smiled cause I was walking, and all by my self, sticks & stones !!!!!! Love to all.

Good for you Gail! Sometimes KIDS, and sometimes ADULTS too can be so mean! You have come a long way. We here are all so proud of you! Don't let them spoil your journey and your new accomplishments! I f i ever caught my kids doing that id pop them one and they know it to.
Thats the 1 thing i have instilled in them dont make fun of anybody,cause karma will get you and she is a b.....h.

Gail, those people are just plain ignorant. You are looking good, girl! Just try to ignore them. I know it's so hard though. We all know that fear, us on here, of being called out for not looking perfect enough. I still worry about it all the time, and it's been 146 pounds since my heaviest. Just keep walking. You're doing great.

Miss Gail......maybe you should walk down that street more often, and take notice of that man. After all, he sounds like the kind of man we all want. I would definitely take notice to see if he is single.lol

The bad thing is kids can be idiots, but the good thing is you had a REAL man stand up for you!!

Gail dont pay any attention to those boys. Kids these days are so mean and that seems to be getting worse as time goes by. Glad to hear you finished your walk, dont let them get ya down. Keep on walking and smiling as you are doing it, you are doing great !!!!

Beauty may be skin deep but ugly is to the bone and attitudes like those boys were raised with is nothing but pure ugly. I feel sorry for people who have to put other people down.. Can you think what their parents have made them feel like??
