im so upset :(

i have my dr. appt tomorrow and pre op testing, but i cant go. im in tears. so now i wont be able to have the surgery
i had a ride up to carmel indiana but due to family issues she cant drive me.
my husband cant drive me because he is still healing from surgery, and i can't drive that far.
i guess my surgery was never to be.

I wish I could help. If you lived between here and Carmel I'd try. Can you call and reschedule?

i tried doing that last week and apparently the test part of the pre op stuff is all booked up until after the end of august. :*(

Hey eiregirl sorry that you are going to miss that appointment but the end of August is better than never! It took me 6 years to get the surgery because of the insurance companies and the bariatric center. SO if I can wait 6 years surely u can wait a month! C'mon don't give up that easy or you didn't want it that bad! If I didn't have anything going on I would come and get you but I do have an appointment. Reschedule and then find someone again.

thank you mitch. i've waited for this surgery since i was 19 yrs old. i am 36 now. and its always one thing after another.. i had to wait a month for my date to begin with. then i had the date which was 4 months away *aug 4th* so i know about waiting.. im so f*cking mad right now. *at my situation*

GET MAD GAL!  now get over it and schedule that surgery for august!  DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!

I feel so bad for you, if you were north instead of south of carmel I would think about it. I know how you feel, I have been approved by insurance since june the 5th and now I have to wait till next Tuesday to get the shrinks ok, seems he thinks I need more help. I started this road trip in October, I thought by my birthday I would be at least forty pounds down. That was if things went smoothly, that didn't happen. Birthday is next month, and all my hopes about being thinner by then are gone. I went threw the whole madder than hell thing, which didn't get me anywhere, so I am just playing it by ear, when it happens it will happen.
