I was just thinking, we have some great cooks here on the boards and we post a bunch of recipes now and then.  We also bring copies of our recipes to the clothing exchanges.  Well, I have a binding machine and thought I'd get some recipes together, print them off and bind them and hand them out at the fall clothing exchange!  Just think of it as my early Christmas gift to each of you.  If you'd like to submit a recipe, just email it to me.  My email address is in the directory.  Make sure you put your name and your site name so we'll know where each came from.  Also, if you'd like to put something in about the recipe, go ahead!  I used to do these with family recipes and they are always well received. Let me know what you think! Smooches, Jacqui

Wow...what a great idea! My daughter did something similar in her Social Studies group and they had to use a family recipe and tell the story behind it. Great way for them to learn about their ancestry and sharing it as well! Will see what I can conjure up and get it to you!

Jacqui, that is such a great idea. My only question is can you submit a few recipes? I can never stop at just one~kind of like Jay's potato chips I guess. haha That is one of my hobbies~collecting recipes. I have several that I really like and thought that I could just send them to you.  Thanks so much for doing this. I think it is a great idea. I am making a church cook book. We are submitting recipes and their names go by it. I am suppose to be working on it but I just haven't had much time lately to do it. They are so much fun. I collect cook books too so this is another one to add to my collection.  Love and hugs to you.........

Heavens to Betsy Brenda!  Of course you can submit more than one recipe. I'm hoping we'll get lots and lots of them.  I'll keep updating it each year too!

love you bunches,

Jacqui

I think that the cookbook would be a wonderful idea.  I will come up with one or two recipes and get them to you.  Are you going to put a dead line on when you want them, so that you will not be getting them after you started putting it together.  Thank you so much.

The beauty of a woman is not seen through what she wears. It is seen through how she carries herself and the way she doesn’t allow herself to settle. Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. I’m so blessed to have you in my life.  Sometimes we all need to be reminded how special we really are!

Jacqui, Great idea! Is there a particular font, size, etc that you have in mind? I can be sure to send mine in the style that would work best for you if you'd like. I'll try to remember to do this this weekend. Sherri
