Hello friends. How are you all doing? I'm home and sore. Friday night on the 4th, about 11pm I woke up from a sleep with the worst pain I'd ever had. My mom took me to ER up in Munster,Indiana. THey figured out I had a perforation from the CAT scan they did. I gave them Dr. Inman's card, and they got ahold of Dr. Huse. He had they send me to St. V's in Carmel. I went by helicoptor, and Dr. Huse was ready to meet me when I got there. It turned out to be a perforation in an ulcer I had developed (without even knowing it.)THey did surgery SAtruday morning, and I just got home today. I tell you, if it's not one thing it another for my family.

I was tired from just getting home when I put in the last message, so it was short. But yes, I think I'm going to be good as new. They took good care of me up there. I am now on carafate and protonix possibly indefinately, but that would be worth it not to hurt again. This is my first real complication, but it sure scared me.

I am glad to hear you are feeling better.  I know the ulcer pain and its not fun. But to have it along with perforation, would just not be any fun at all. Hang in there!
