Work-Outs!
Hello all,
After much thought, I've decided I'm really going to try and lose the weight by myself, with hard work and diet. I am getting married in March of next year (we set the date 2 days ago!) and I really really hope this will be the motivation I've been searching for, for years. The dress I've picked out (I know, I'm jumping the gun, but I'm excited!) only goes up to a size 24 and I'm currently a size 26-28. My goal for the next 8 months is to lose about 50lbs. That will put me down to about 235lbs and back to a size 20/22.
**Anyway! I wanted to let you all know about a WONDERFUL work-out program called Turbo Jam. My fiance bought it for me about 1 1/2 years ago and I've been using it off-and-on ever since. It's seriously nothing like I've tried before. It's so much fun, if you can believe working out is fun.
The host's name is Chalene Johnson and she's super nice and super fun. It's not like one of those work-outs where the instructor is just trying to make money, I feel she's really trying to help people change their lives. Her energy and the work-outs really boost my energy and make me want to try harder to accomplish my goals.
I think this would be a good program for anyone. Before or after having WLS. It doesn't strain your back or joints because there are people in the video that show you how to do it low-impact, which is how I'm going to start out. (I live upstairs, so I'm sure the people below me will be happy)
