Advise on a doctor in Indy

Ladies i need help My cousin lives in Indianapolis and has been approved for the gastric bypass and she is going to the clarian center. They ask for her to have a doctor in mind. I told her i would ask you all because she is asking my opinon and i dont know who to recommend. She is medicaid and she wants this done fast can you help me. Thank you in advance and can i bring her to the clothing exchange with me? thank you

I am seeing Dr. Ditslear at Clarian; my physician recommended him. He was very personable when I met him. My surgery is at the end of July.

Dr Inman is real good. But I think with medicaid she only does so many per month or what ever. So you might just have to call and find out how far out they are scheduling.

Dr. Mattar, No questions about it! He is the head of the Center and usually can get in to be scheduled really fast. I love him to death, he is a sweetheart and Very soft spoken. SHanna

Dr. Mattar did my surgery, and I think he is terrific.  Very kind, very caring, very highly respected.  I would recommend him without question.  ~Bev

By all means bring your sister but don't feel hurt if you get told she has to wait to start choosing clothes for the first 15 minutes.. Pre-ops wait until the post ops have a chance to choose something new to wear..All the time we get family members coming and that is GREAT!! We want to meet them and be an encouragement to them.. But we also want to be fair to the post ops who need the new clothes because they have started shrinking already and need something that doesnt fall off...Linda Kay

Thanks Linda Its funny but my hubby told me no more clothes.lol I had a friend give me some and omg i would never be able to wear them all. But Tonya is trying to absorb as much info as she can about the drs in Indy and etc so i thought if she met some of the ladies closer to her than i am(im 2hrs away) they could tell her what she needed to know.We are coming to spend the day of her surgery with her... But i just would love the chance to meet all of you and my hubby says no more clothes lisa....

Dr.mattar did my surgery ,then my daughters and my cosion..He is a wonderful man very proff.hes the director at clarian...have her go to the support meeting up there...he usually sits in the meetings ..she can ask questions and meet others .then it might help her make up her mind...good luck ..i know whoever she chooses will do great...

Dr Inman all the wayyyy---I was 557lbs the day or surgery and had NO complications---she is awesome---she used to be a trama surgeon---I was totally blessed to have her as my doc---I had sleep apena and diabetis and high blood pressure and arthritis and nuropathy and hell the list goes on---Dr Inman is awesome!!!  I no longer have sleep apena and no insulin shots---I'm 5 months out and down almost 200 lbs---she's awesome---have I mentioned she's awesome???
