Anything that is sugar-free and low in fat/carbs. There are alot of sugar-free dessert recipes out there..(my profile as well as others has them, splenda.com). Often, you can adapt just about any recipe to a 'healthy, bariatric-friendly' one. If in doubt on how to change a old fave into a new & improved one, drop me a line & I'll see if I can offer some suggestions...k?

Hooray!!!! Bill and I are going to be there with bells on and ringing!!! I am so very excited about meeting everyone finally, and getting my hugs for the day! Bill is going to be the driver and I am the direction teller. Leave it to me to the bossy one! Trust me that one fits.
I am going to bring my cracker desert made with the pudding, crackers and cool whip. I just have to make sure to bring it in a cooler. haha
I got clothes too so now I have to gather them all up and clean out my closet yet again (this makes about the 5th time for that) and check the sizes and I am set to go with them.
I am so looking forward this so nothing or no one better get in my way or there is going to a crazed woman on the prowl.
Basically the first hour is usually fellowship and putting the clothes out on tables which are labeled by size. About 12 we all go into the dining area and have a great meal. Usually 30-60 minutes into the meal or what not, everyone who is post op gets to "shop" the tables and pick out what they want/need. I believe after 15 minutes of that preops and anyone else can go "shop". This rule was put into place so that post ops (who need the clothes most) can have first dibs at some of the smaller sizes being that we're into them now or going into them. It's always a day of great fun. I sure hope you can make it. :)
I am hoping that I will be able to attend, but at this time, I am not sure. My schedule isn't posted yet, and I am hoping that my body will be able to adjust easily for it. I will know more closer to time. If I do get to come, I will probably bring Italian Beef and my fruit salsa and chips. We will have to just play it by ear as time gets closer.

I am sooo hoping that we can make it. I've got a lot going on with my upcoming surgery and I have a lot to put into place. I also need to find a job hopefully before hand so we have some extra cash set aside for everything since I will be back on mushies, protein shakes (i've got an order in for some AcheivOne) and stuff for a week or so.
I would love to make it to this one but I would need to have a ride with someone. If anyone in my area (Akron, northern In) is going and can give me a ride that would be great. Hubby has to work the next few weekends and I can't drive in Indy (too chicken, lol)
I have lots of clothes to bring if I get to make it, from size 26 down to 18's
