Lafayette Support Group?

Does Lafayette still have a monthly Support Group Meeting held at Unity?  I went to them around a year and a half ago when I was going thru the process with my Insurance Co. (which was a no go). I am currantly trying to set up a self-pay plan and I would love to start going to meetings again.  I liked them because you had people there from all stages out. Anyone know or go?

Yes, they are sponsored by St. Vincents, but are open to everyone.  They are the second Monday at 7:00 at Unity.  I go most months.  Here is part of an email notice from the facilitators:  Hello Everyone,      Just wanted to let you know about some guests speakers for our support group.  On Monday July 14th, Sando Jones Aker Cosmetic Surgery Group will be giving a presentation to our support group at Unity Pavilion Building at 7:00 PM.       On Monday September 8th at 7:00 PM at Unity, Dawn, a dietitian from St. Vincent, will be speaking to our group.  She has also written a cookbook for Bariatric patients and will be sharing some cooking tips/ideas with our group.  She is going to try to bring some of her cookbooks to have available for anyone to purchase.      Please spread the word about our guests speakers.  Hope to see everyone soon with an update on your weight loss.  See you soon and take care.
