Good morning everyone!!                                                                                                                                               I hope everyone slept well. Bill & I did...well, for us, we did. We always have trouble sleeping in strange places so we didn't sleep well while we were at Santa's Lodge. The bed was comfy..it's just us. Gail doesn't sleep worth a darn at any time but I think we had her worn out enough that she did get some zzzz's Friday night. lol. She said that durring one of her wake-up times she looked over & was relieved to see that I was finally snoozing some. Little did she know that in a few hours when I was awake, I looked over at her & thought the same thing. Oh..guess I should say that we had 2 queen-size beds in our room...one for Gail, one for Bill & I.                                                                                                          After Gail having seen my morning/noon swell-up of my tummy, she suggested that we take pictures to bring to the doctor with me. Terrific idea! Bill thinks (hopes) he has his new camera set up to put time-stamps on the pics. We did the first set of pics at 7:40. We also got pics with the measurement tape and it looks like those turned out good on the camera. This morning, it's 34" at my belly button. If it holds true to form, it'll be 38-39" by noon. I think the camera did a great job at showing how the intestines are pushing on my stomach all the time...even when it is relatively 'down' like right now (if I were a movie star, they'd write about my 'bump' even when it's down and spectulate that I am about 3-4 months along). When I swell up, it's all I can do not to walk with my hand at the arch of my back like someone who is 8 months pregnant. Of course, I look like I'm about that far along so at least people would look at me like I'm having a 'blessed event moment' instead of a 'wow! what in the heck is wrong with her?!?'.  Hmmm...I wonder who is bigger then, me or Nicole Kidman? LOL! (I know, not funny, but sometimes, you gotta try to find the humor in stuff!!!).                                                                                                                                                             We don't have alot of plans today other than taking those pics. Oh, I got me an ironing board about a month ago. While I was in the check-out line a little old lady told me that I would NEVER use it, so why buy it. Well..today, I am proving her wrong! Since I got my guest room all cleaned up & organized last weekend, I have room now to have it set up in there so I'm going to put my MP3 on and get down to ironing with Gretchen Wilson & Big & Rich! LOL!                                                                                                      Oh..we stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way down to Holiday World and I was able to get some cute stuff from the discount rack! I got a teal denim jacket with flowers (regular $44.99...so I paid $22.50), a white t-shirt with the same flowers (regular $19.99 so I paid $10), a pair of light blue capri cotton pants (elastic waist, regular $19.99, I paid $10) and a few other t-shirts that were also regular $19.99 & I paid $10. So...on the way home yesterday, I wore jeans and my flower shirt & jacket..and we stop by Cracker Barrel on the way home...a different one. I got me another jacket..blue denim, another t-shirt, and a shirt that matches the capri pants I had gotten the first time! All again for half price! Woo-hoo! I love bargains! And...at Holiday World, I was able to find the Christmas ornaments for the exchange this year!                                                                                                                Well..you all have a good day today. Just think, for many of us, it's a 4 day work week! Yay! Good morning all! GOod morning Sherri! I'm up finally, My poor hubby had to be at work at 7am, and was up several hours ago. I slept in though. We visited MIkey yesterday. He seemed in good spirits, but still hadn't slept well. He's being a trooper. I know he'll make it through this hospitalization. We're going back to Bl. to see him again today. Will be leaving around 11am.

Good morning all.  Today is my last post BEFORE going to work. Today is my last day shift to work, and I am glad, and a little sad as well.  I have made so many friends on day shift, and I do like to sleep normal, but I am excited about starting swing shift, so I can experience the high-energy that is on swing shift.  I used to work swing shift, before the girls were old enough to notice the difference, so now all I have to do is get my internal clock adjusted! UGGGGGGGH!!! That is going to be so hard, but I will manage.  It will take me a few weeks, I am sure, but I will be ok! Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.  It is going to be beautiful here today.  I would love to be out in the sun, but I have to work.  Oh well, I am going to try to get out again tomorrow if it is still nice.   Gotta get ready and head out.  Have a wonderful day and TTYL

Good Morning Sherri and all,

Just a quick note this morning as I'm not doing very well and can't sit very long.  My back is the worst it's been in many years.  I can hardly get up out of the chair, even the hot tub isn't helping much.  Brenda did find some old muscle relaxers and I just took one in hopes that it will help.

Today we're taking CJ to the dog park.  They're having Soggy Doggy Days with vendors and contests.  It should be fun and he's been looking forward to it.  LOL 

Between Brenda's bad shoulder and my back, we're going to try and get the grass cut, but not sure how.  We sure are a pair today.

Hope everyone has a great day in this beautiful weather.  This weekend has been the best ever thanks to our OH family.

 to All, I guess I still in the holiday spirit  I did manage to sleep some. I think I was still trying to count all the "WOW" moments,I had . Its so much better than counting sheep !!!!! Getting all those caring, supportive ( much needed for me) hugs was  priceless. I so love our OH family.  I can't wait to the clothing exchange to see more family. Today, I think I will go walking to keep it going, and no Sherri , I will not be going alone !! I will attemp the stairs sometime this week. Grandkids, coming over later. I too, bought a few things at Cracker Barrel for the grandaughters, the grandsons I give money they are saving for Holiday World. They thought it was so cool their NANA went..... and got wet . Good morning to all my fellow loser friends and soon to be losers. I hope that your day today is not good but great!! First off I am so glad that everyone had a blast this week end. I am not much on either amusement or water parks and neither is Bill. I doubt that you will ever see us at that week end but we are going to the next clothing exchange and we are going to Hope's for one night. With Bill working afternoons we aren't going to be able to get there until sometime Saturday morning. We are going to leave at the crack of dawn since it is going to take us about an hour and a half to get to you all.  Today is cloudy and cool. They had said that a cool front was coming in and it is here. It got here yesterday in the early evening. I guess Chicago got a lot of bad storms but thank God we didn't get any. It did rain during the night but I never heard anything. lol I have been sleeping like a little log the past several days. It is about time!!! It looks like it is going to rain at any time. Gosh does it ever stop raining in Indiana? Nothing much planned here today. I am really wanting to just stay home and do nothing but I think Bill made  plans with his cousin for us to go out to lunch. I really don't want to go but I guess I will. I don't know where we are going to be going but I hope that it is good. lol I am going to call my opthalmologist in the morning. My "good" eye (I am almost blind in my right eye from lazy eye) is doing nothing but twiching and has been for almost a couple of weeks. It was annoying but now I am getting such terrible headaches all around the eye. It goes into my temple and up in to my forehead so I think that I should have him check things out. It something happens to this eye I am, as my best friend says, screwed, blued and tatooed. I have no idea what that is suppose to mean. lol  I guess I will close for the day. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day today and enjoys what they are doing. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers are going up, with special ones for those in need.

I wanted to update you all on my son's condition all though I dont really know a whole lot because I am not sure the doc's know much.  His IV went bad this morning so they are waiting for the radiologist to come and do a pic line.  They have started him on oxygen now.  His white blood cell count was slightly improved today (I am hoping this is a good sign).  He is still is suffering from nausea really bad and throwing up a lot, along with having some acid reflux.  They had just given him a shot to help with the nausea this morning when I talked to the nurse so hopefully that will improve for him.  It is my understanding that they are still experiementing with the antibiotics to find one that the sepsis will respond to and then he will be ok.  Its such a helpless feeling when your child is so sick.  I will be going to the hospital this afternoon and give his g/f a break so she can go home and take a shower and spend some time with their dog.  I will post more then if I know anything more. Just stopping in to say Hi this morning.  It keeps getting dark like its gonna storm then it gets sunny again so not so sure what the weather is gonna be doing here.  Glad to hear that everyone had a great time at holiday world.  Linda hope your visit goes well with Mikey and that they find a way to help him get some rest soon.  Floyd I hope you find you some relief from your back. I know how it feels. Have had back issues since I was a teenager. Its no fun at all.  LaChelle good luck with your new shift at work, hope the transition goes well for you. Jeannie keeping your son in my prayers and hoping he gets well soon. Well I'm off to finish up with the cleaning that I never finished the other day lol.  What I do get done, my daughter likes to go behind me and drag it all back out again.  Yesterday she was dragging out a bunch of her stuff and I told her to make sure she picks it all back up, her reply to me was "oh mom dont stress I will pick it up when i'm done" well guess where all the stuff is, still laying where she left it lol. I guess that is what 4 year olds are for.  She actually has a birthday this thursday.  She is hoping that her dad makes it in in time for her birthday.  He is suppose to fly into kwait today sometime and then into the states. We shall see cuz they keep having horrible sand storms where he is at.  Plus its the military and they never seem to keep one schedule things change what seems to be 300 times before they actually do it lol.  Well hope everybody has a wonderful day.
