Self pay question

i was a self pay i had to use 2 credit cards and my savings but is was worth it, but i was told it was 25,000. had problems with diabetes and had to go into icu and the insurance did pay for all the extras.

Hi Spike  I Had Lap Roux-en-y with Dr. Huse on 3-20-08. I was a self pay and used two credit cards to pay the entire bill. (airplane miles) The St Vins bill was $20,000 and the DR. bill was $5,000.00 all paid up front. The 225.00 consult fee was additional. Everything else was included provided no complications and additional stay. My surgery and recovery went very well, so I had no additional charges. They did send me lab bills and some other misc. bills, however, I called Martha at St. Vins. in  patient accounts and she took care of paying those for me . Had no further troubles with billing.
