Hello all! I hope you all are going to have a good day. I'm up and at 'em. Ready to head out to work in a few minutes. I did have a hard time getting out of bed earlier, but I'm awake now. Night before I had horrible cramps all night in my legs. I decided in the morning, maybe it had to do with my lack of vitamins for the last couple of days/week. I just didn't have anymore (durn flood), but I made a point yesterday morning to go to Walgreen's and get myself my vitamins. I guess it did help. I slept fine last night. They are important to keep taking forever! Today I'm going to try to have a good day. Quit with the mopiness and downness, and be positive. I have really been feeling so low lately. I can't let myself get so far down. My family needs me now. So, I hope everyone else can join me in a 'good' day :-) !!!

That's the way I feel too Linda.. iT JUST DOESN'T HELP TO MOPE..Would be nice if it did but it doesn't help.. tried it myself...I helped Melissa all last week with the girls.. today she is going to try it on her own...I will forever admire mothers (and fathers) of multiples because I now know exactly what they do during the day... Today I am going to TRY to mow my yard..the big tractor is having the carb fixed so I will be using the little one that takes twice as long.. thank goodness it is a good way to tan...Linda Kay

Good morning everyone! I'm at work..but not in the mood! LOL! As if I ever am anymore!                                   Bill is having problems with his good eye. For a while there it was getting good enough that he could read some of the menu's when we'd go out to eat. We went out yesterday and he had problems seeing anything at all. Scary! He's going to call Dr. Price as soon as they open & see how quick they can get him in. I told him to take the earliest appointment they can squeeze him in as long as he allows 2 hours for me to leave work, get him, and get him there. No..it doesn't take 2 hours, more like a little over 1 hour, but you never know about the traffic. Anyway, my time here at work will probably be cut short today. No heartbreak for me..can you tell?                                                Well..I got my guest room/craft room all done yesterday! Whew! It took 3 days to do it but boy am I glad I did it! I think Denise slept good in there last ngiht. She sure was when I went in there to wake her up this morning. lol. Now to just get the rest of the house as organized! LOL! Yeah, like THAT is going to happen!                                             Well folks, have a super-duper day today!!                        Sherri

Good morning all. I don't usually post in the mornings but I am on vacation. I am preparing for a garage sale later this week. In a few minutes I am going to head out for a walk. I have been slacking in the exercise department, so this is a good day to start. I have some good news. My son informed me that he is very serious about someone that he has been seeing for quite sometime. It appears that I will be getting a lovely new daughter in law and 2 step grandaughters! That will mean 4 beautiful girls to spoil. My current  2 grandaughters are the light of my life! Well  I better head out on my walk or I will change my mind. Happy Day to all!

Good morning all! Back and at em at work today. Blah! This week will probably go fast cause I have a busy weekend. Saturday is our town's 4th of July celebration and we have festivities all day in the park and we are setting up a cotton candy booth to make some $ for our dept.  Then in the evening my parents have a cookout for about 30-50 people and then they shoot fireworks off in their back barn lot so they are literally over our heads.  Then Sunday we are having a surprise 60th bday party for my mom in law.  So very busy weekend. I sure wished that I could join you all at Holiday World, but it is almost impossible for me to get away from work. Oh well, maybe next time. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all.  Hope your Monday is a great one.  Not much going on for me other than paying bills.....uggh. But, it is something that I must do! Thank you all for the wonderful comments on my picture!  I haven't felt this great in so long, I don't know what else to say, but Thanks again! I am going to get out and get some more sun today, and probably tomorrow as well, so I don't burn on Friday.  There is only a slight chance of showers on Friday, with the highs in the mid 80s.....thats great! Perfect weather to spend outdoors! I can't wait until Friday! I am so ready to go splash around! LOL  A dear friend is going today, and has invited me to go, but I had to turn her down, since I don't have the funds to go twice in one week! LOL   Oh well, gotta run! Have a wonderful day!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good Morning Everyone!
We had a great weekend. Holiday World was sooo awesome. I wish I could join you all this Friday. But... I'm excited to plan next years trip to include Quinntin. So much for him to do next year that it makes me excited. The best ride was the Bakuli.... OMG.... everyone please make time to get on that ride. It's so kick ass! Did lots of walking and... ugh..... my calfs hurt. We did find in Thanksgiving land a cafe called the Plymouth Rock that served cafeteria style food that was more WLS friendly then anything else in the park. An adult plate - one meat and three sides (hot or cold) was $7.99. The also had grilled chicken salads for $6.99. About everything else in the park was junk food. I had a roasted chicken leg quarter with a baked potato, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. They will let adults buy children's platters which are one meat and two sides for $4.99. ANyways we had an awesome time and... gosh dang... I wish we could afford to go with you all on Friday. That's how much fun it was. Today it's laundry day for me. Also gonna try to hit the gym and try to get a few extra pounds off me. My wedding dress fitting is this Friday at 5 pm at Sophia's in Greenwood if anyone would like to stop by. Everyone have a great day. Love and Blessings Jodi

my week and a half of being a surrogate mommy are over. i babysat a little 5 year old hellion for what seemed like forever. i have never in my life been as happy to go to work as i was wednesday morning; i have never wanted to spank a child i babysat for in 15 years of babysitting until that day. i didn't, but i really really wanted to. awful, i know. no matter what i did it was wrong because i wouldn't let him have his way, and when the little monster wanted cookies for breakfast on sunday morning...well, it was like pulling teeth without pain meds and he was in timeout for like an hour until he could sit quietly. oh, and i will have to say i did a terrific job of keeping him away from the foods that trigger his hyper-activity...until daddy came by for visits. every night it took me at least 4 hours to get him to sleep. arg!!!!!!!!! let's just say that it's a week that i never want to repeat again, and if i ever see another fall down screaming temper tantrum, i'm just going to pull my hair out and run away screaming. lol!

good thing though. i broke my stall, and am down 10 pounds. guess running after the little demon worked. lol!

Babysitting is one job that I admire those who have the patience for it!! Well..those who do it RIGHT anyway (I know some who think that babysitting is just sitting in front of the tv..the kids AND them!). I can't stand being around brats though. The last time we went to Ryan's I told them I was allergic to kids. The cashier told me that she couldn't be allergic to them cause she's a grandma. I told her I was a grandmother too but THOSE kids I can spank if they needed it, I couldn't spank other people's kids! We all had a good laugh but they did make sure they didn't put anyone with kids by our table! LOL! And I did make sure to tip extra for that little service! LOL! I noticed last night in Longhorn though that there were NO sections that was good to be in if there were a screaming kid in the restaurant at all. There wasn't any kids in our section but there was a screamer in one section when we got there and a different screamer in a different section by the time we left (but I did notice the parent of this one trying to get the kid to hush up some). The sound carried the screams accross the entire place. SO...beware if you frequent there..... I didn't mind those though..at least they were babies, not some 3 yr old trying to get their own way! LOL!                     Mean-ole Mamaw Sherri

Good Morning Indiana!  I'm slammed as usual but wanted to get on here and do a few posts before starting my day.  Last week was insane!  I was so busy at work and then we had vacation bible school at church every night.  I was the coordinator this year and did all of the bible lessons each night.  It was very exhausting but so worth it.  The older kids were like sponges and sucked up everything we told them.  It was amazing!   Had a family reunion in Kentucky this weekend.  It was great to see the extended family and even greater to hear all of the comments on my weight loss!  Troy is singing at a church next Sunday so we went  with him to practice with his guitar player last night.  We love this family and haven't had much time to spend with them lately.  It was nice to relax and listen to the guys do their music.  They are definitely gifted!  Needless-to-say, I'm pooped. I'm sooooo excited about Holiday World Friday.  I can't wait to see everyone!  I wish I could've gotten a bunch of free passes so money couldn't be a factor on whether people could come or not.  I do wish everyone could make it.  I'm going to do a better job planning it next year so maybe we can have a better turnout.  I bet if I got in there earlier, I could get a deal at Santa's Lodge too.  We also have a state park right down the road from Santa Claus.  Maybe we could all camp next year too!  The campground isn't as nice as Lake Rudolph but it's cheaper and it's still a nice campground.  I promise to do better next year. Oh well....time to get back to the ole grindstone.  Know I love you guys! Jacqui
