Need Help Please

I am not doing well right now I got a letter from insurance and they denied me so my primary doctor sent a letter with more info they thought they wanted. I don't know what I can do if I get denied again I want to appeal it but I don't know how to go about that. Can anyone help me with this?

what insurance company? They will have a formal appeal process in place, either you will find it written on the letter, or you can call and ask them what steps you need to take... It will also depend on what the denial reason is... if it is a policy exclusion, then you will not get it covered period.  But if they say you aren't meeting the guidelines, then you may be able to work around it. Gather every piece of information you can about your co morbites, gather information of EVERY diet you have tried.. ETC,, the letter from your Dr, and I even had a letter written from me explaining my quality of life and how hard I had tried with no past sucess.. GOOD LUCK.. you only fail when y ou give up. I was denied twice.  I had my orthopedic, pcp, hemotologist and nephrologist send letters to my surgeon and he added them to his formal appeal and I was approved.  That was with Anthem.
