still no date!!!!

I don't get it, Amy emailed me and said that the date on my approval letter wasn't my date, and I would hear from Heather this week with the date. I waited all  week and no phone call. I checked my voice mail at least 10 times today, no date. Anyone else told they would get the call and then no call?

Yes, I was in the same boat, took them about 2 weeks to call me back with a date.

Kim isn't crazy how long you have to wait, I know it seems like it is taking forever for me. But everyone keeps saying how fast the time goes. I was thinking since my 6 month diet was done in April that I would just be sure and have surgery in May or early June. Oh well, I am sure I will survive until I hear a date. How have you been doing? Things getting a little easier as time goes on? Thanks for letting me know I am not alone with the wait.

Nope, not alone on the wait.  Then from the time they scheduled me to my surgery date was another month and a half , almost 2 months.  Only the last two weeks before my surgery flew by for me, the other time just dragged.  I did however use all that time to do exactly what they tell you not to do which was eat everything I cant have right now.  I am soooo glad I did it. ( and I did not gain a single pounds, in fact I lost 4!) I miss eating real meals so bad right now and think back to those last few weeks of eating steak!  Yummy steak!!!  So I say enjoy your time right now while you can!  Becasue after you srugery its a good 8 weeks of mushy and purreded food , which fo r me are not hitting the spot, I am so craving a salad!!!!!!!!!!!
