Kim, I'm sure the list has changed some since I had mine but...here's what I had (pick & choose the ones you can have). For breakfast: fat free cottage cheese, sugar-free instant oatmeal. For my RNY, scrambled eggs were allowed but they were removed from the list by the time I had my revision. For lunch/dinner: instant mashed potatoes, creamed soups (I would use the soup as 'gravy' for my potates), refried beans (I'd put it on a saucer and nuke it a few seconds with some fat-free or 2% shredded cheese). After my revision, crackers were allowed so I would mke my own  cheese crackers (put 1-2" mounds of fat-free or low fat shredded cheese on parchment paper about 2" apart. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, cool very well). I would spread my refried beans on the crackers, sprinkle with cheese, and nuke. It was a treat!  I always kept string cheese and sf pudding cups in the fridge! I always kept sf popcycles in the freezer! And I always kept Swanson's chicken broth (check the labels..one of them has 4 g protein per serving) in the cabinet. When I could add some meat, I got the canned versions of about everything & I'd add a little low fat mayo to it. That helped it slide down a little easier. Good luck! Congrats on getting to the point of having room for a little food again. Enjoy this honeymoon stage that nothing sounds good. It really does make losing WAY easier! Sherri

Kim, It gets better.  Some of it will interest you soon.  It is very bland and limited.  I tried to not have the same thing 2 meals in a row.  Everything was good for awhile and as time progressed less and less of it was satisfying.  My favs were refried beans from taco bell, instant oatmeal(cinnamon and spice), instant mashed potatoes, and cottage cheese.  I did have an egg once in a while. Hang in there girl.  Get to week 5 the choices are more enviting. You can do this. Carol

Refried beans were my best friend, but only fat free...I forgot and got some from Taco Bell one night, and just felt 'off' from them being full fat.  A 16 oz can of fat free refried beans will last forever in 1 ounce portions, so I used my one ounce shot glass and scooped lumps on waxed paper, then froze.  Put all the lumps in a freezer bag, and just pull one out at meal time.  Breakfast was usually yogurt or string cheese, lunch was string cheese or refried beans, and dinner was mashed potatoes made with chicken broth and garlic salt, with a dab of butter.  By the end of the 4 weeks I was definitely ready for more variety, but cottage cheese only tasted good to me if it was ice cold...and taking 30 minutes for meals means nothing is still cold at the end!  Good luck...it passes very quickly, even if it doesn't seem like it now!
