Melissa had surgery a week ago tomorrow.. She isnt in any real surgery pain and actually doing quite well.. Of course she is drained but we all h ad a little trouble picking up energy at first right? WELL... Her pupils are still dialated.. and she is still foggy brained things tend to seem like they are moving in slow motion.. she breaks out in an awful sweat when she stands and walks  much and her BP is still pretty elevated... Does this sound familiar to anyone?? The druggist said none of her meds she is on should be causing it and there shouldnt be any interaction with her meds... Linda Kay

Linda Kay,  I kinda felt the same way at first.. some days I would get up and feel like I was in a fog or something.  I figured out it was my fluids.  I needed to increase my liquids.. still sometimes i wake up in the am and feel this way but after I start drinking my water I feel much better.  Not sure but its just a thought...  What does her doctor say?  or the Nut?   Wish her well and she's in my Prayers... jamie

LInda Kay, I agree I think she needs to talk to a doctor.  It may be an electrolyte imbalance from all of the dietary changes.  It may be low potassium that is causing the problems.  If the doctor didn't call back today and she is still feeling badly I would suggest calling the doc on call yet tonight.   Tell her we are all pulling for her and praying that she starts to feel better real soon.   Love Carolyn

Thanks  for the replies... She did call the Dr yesterday but didnt get a reply by the time I left at 6. Maybe I can give her your ideas to hold onto until the Dr calls back... Yep the first thing I told her to do is call the Druggest then the Dr.. You know Melissa she is pretty smart.. But you also know me willing to ask for ideas..Until the Doc pulls thru.. Thanks!! Melissa is fine.. they gave her 2 bags of fluids and her electrolites were fine.. Dr C said she'd make it!! YEA!!  As much as I love my 3 BEAUTIFUL little girls I DO ADMIRE the way Melissa is raising them... Just doing my part in the grandma business wears me out... they are BUSY little girls.. Melissa deserves all the good life can throw her.. she surley has my admiration!! Scott deserves a big pat on the back too... He helps out daily after working a sometimes stressful job... these floods and public records have taken a toll on the nerves and with what he is handling... WOW They BOTH deserve some peace.. I was the same way!   I had an UTI.....really bad.  But it also took me a couple of weeks to really wake up from the anesthesia.  She needs to call the dr's office back and press 0 to talk to someone.
