Quick Question
How did you loose the first few pounds before surgery??? I have been watching what I eat, drinking only water, liquid meals for most of my days, but now I feel like I am at a standstill. What is one way to get over the hump and start loosing again to be ready for surgery? I know I have 15 lbs to go, and I want them gone as soon as healthily as possible. Any hints, tips or suggestions?

I should also add that I have been excercising daily.......and it feels like I am getting stronger that way too, but just not seeing any movement in the scales. I guess it is time to boost my liquids to full liquids for the next few days to see if that helps some! What do you all think?

Hi,
If you are excercising, you probably won't see as much movement on the scales. You are trading fat for muscle and muscle weighs more! That's a good thing. In the long run, muscle burns more calories than fat (actually fat doesn't burn any) and you will lose weight faster after surgery. You will also look leaner. In the meantime, start taking your measurements every month on the same day and about the same time. You will see a difference there. Keep up the good work.
