Good Monday Morning!
Hope everyones workweek starts out uneventful and easy! Mondays are always easy for me thank goodness.
Today we have Molly's class trip to Huber's Orchard. She is walking on cloud nine as it is, so she will wake up and be ready to run immediately today. Her sister, on the other hand, will be a different story. Waking her up is like pulling teeth from an elephant, not an easy task!
Gotta get going, so have a wonderful day!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning!
No work week for me for a few weeks! Woo-hoo!
Bill & I are going to go pick up his daughter here in a few minutes. Then we are going to breakfast (a little Mom & Pop place on East Washington called Eva Lee's). Then we're off to sit for a few hours at Dr. Price's vision group. Shellie has an appointment at 10 and Bill at 10:30. They had scheduled over 30 people for that same time frame! So...we will be there quite awhile. On Mondays, Dr. Price himself sees every patient so it makes for a long appointment time! This is suppose to be Shellie's last appointment (cataracts removed & artificial iris' put in). It's a follow-up for Bill (artificial cornea & drain stint put in). If anyone else other than Dr. Price checks Bill's pressure, they manage to scratch the tissue over the cornea so trust me, we don't mind waiting if it'll keep all of the interns away from him!
When we get home, we have to take the RV to the RV place near us to dump..the septic dump at the camp grounds we were at would have been ok if you had a portable black water tank, but definately not a 35 footer! We also have to get a price estimate on a new awning for over the slider (me & a building roof got a little too friendly!). After that, we're going to go visit Louie and bring him his heartworm meds, ect. I can't wait to see how well he's adjusting.
And then...it'll be time to go see my loser friends! You guys have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this! I'm probably feeling a little more anxious about this surgery than any other I've had. Excited & nervous both. So....some time with my mind occupied on having fun is fantastic!! Oh..On the 'call' list for my daughter for after Dr. Bergman comes out and talk with the family, I have Ellen & Floyd on it. I thought Ellen would be camping..but I know she & Dana are also a little busy right now with all going on between kids, grandkids, and extended family. So, I asked Floyd to post on here and let you all know how things went. I figured if his boss was out of town, he'd have time...lol!
You all have a good day!

Wow Jess,
Im glad you posted that. Andy and I are going to an island off the coast of Maine in Nov...where hes at right now...visiting his folks. Not needed there since its still US owned but in Jan we are thinking about going on a cruise. So I better look into getting us passports when I go to the DMV later this week to get my new license...with my new pic(down 186 lbs) and with our new address or and my new last name...since I only got married 3 yrs ago and never updated that either. So when anyone looks at my license...nothing is right on it...lol
Hope u have a great time on you crusie. Cant wait to see you again...I hear you are looking great...

Hi everyone,
Today I've been lazy and slept in till 9;30- all weekend was go & do, so it felt good to just rest. Now going to go to the church for awhile to help do the newsletters, see a friend on my way home then a meeting at 6;30, so won't be able to go tonight for the dinner- sorry Sherri!!!
I'll call you later tonight and we'll talk-ok?! Hopefully I'll stop by the house on Thurs.-K???
Karen had her 2 1/2 ft. drain tube removed yesturday and was able to walk down the hall a short way yesturday! The grandkids were all there ( 7 of them anyway) so I gave them all a bag of "treats"( tiny pretzels, animal crackers, cheese crackers, and peanuts) to snack on- everytime they show up the little one hollers "were hungry"- ha- just want $$ to go play with the machines and get junk!!! We heard it for the past 3 days so I decided to fix them up the bags-even Kenny - her hubby & Dana had one- only his was nut free. Hopefully she will be out on Wed.-just depends on how well she does and the new "trick in her back pocket" the Dr. wants to do.
My daughter is 33 weeks now, & I am taking her for an ultrasound to see how the babies are doing Wed. She is miserable, and they told her if she goes another 3 weeks she can have them there ( at Witham-Lebanon) and they will do everything at once- if she goes earlier she has to go to St. V's and then have her tubes tied 6 weeks later with another surgery at Witham- so hopefully she'll go to Lebanon. I can't imagine her going thru the c-section & then having to go for another surgery 6 weeks later!!! Plus she will have to go to an Oncologist to start her treatments for the cervical cancer- we still don't know what stage she is in as theyt didin't want to do anything to start her contractions, etc.
Jo,I thought Quintin was going to be here by now- did they decide to wait???
Jess- good thing you are getting a passport- I had planned to go to Canada in Oct. and was told by the clerks office to get one because it is manditory as of Jan. first, but ALOT of countries re requiring them now. Have fun planning your trip!
Cindy, Mindy, & Pam, it was good to see you at the exchange & hopefully we'll see each other at a SG. meeting or the next OH event!! Cindy- the clothes fit you helped me pick~thanks for the help!!!!! I have such a hard time seeing myself in smaller sizes- but those 2x,1x,xl tops had to go!
Have a great day everyone!!!

It isn't the other countries that have changed passport rules, it is the US.
Because of 9/11 and the easy access terrorists had through Canada, the US passed a law that starting this past Jan. any individual must now have a passport to go to previously nonpassport countries like those in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Canada if traveling by cruise ship or plane. Starting next year, you must have one to drive across borders as well. Ellen, I may be wrong but I think you may still drive across the border to Canada. I am originally from southwest Texas and go there frequently and know that right now you can still drive across the border without a passport. Starting this next jan. you will have to have one. We often go across the river for dinner. This will be interesting to have to take a passport to go out to dinner!! Additionally, in the Caribbean, you do not need a passport to go to Puerto rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands b/c they are territories of the US.
Sherrie, good luck with your surgery!! Hope it is successful and you are pain free.
