Autumn is here

Well its a new day and a new season.  I can see it was a very slow day on here yesterday but I can see Sally was here...Shes such a blessing to me....she once again updated the pictures on my profile while I took a nap... I hope everyone is having a great weekend...and more ppl start posting...its to quiet in here.

I was busy all day yesterday getting ready for my annual garage sale. Next Sat My sons and I and a few neighbors pitchin and have a HUGE yard sale. Anderson Orchard has their Apple Fest and Craft fair and I get in on the traffic that drives by getting to it.. I am .10 mile West of the Apple Orchard so usually get 100;s of shoppers. I have clothes from BABY Girls-3 year olds and Adult clothes to 26 Plus Baby Items my kids dont need any longer since we are stopping with 5 grandkids.. I pop in every day just dont always post.. How is the house going?? I HATE remodeling!!! I have lived in the same house for 28 years and an doing it room by room...AGAIN.. Linda Kay

I hate moving so much that I only moved my clothes, makeup,  hair products and all my jewery....My bedroom suit..  That was it.  Now as we do each room we are just getting new.  Guess Im going to have to get all my dishes and scrapbooking things out of the old house and just rent it furnishes...as soon as we buy our new washer and dryer...which we dont have the money for right now...but I think that will be our next purchase. Last month Andy was talking about getting on the other side of Indy in a couple of yrs and I said no way....Im getting this house like I want it and Im not moving ever again till someone plants me in the ground.....lol.  I hate moving!!!  I dont have anyone I care to impress...dont ever have to buy a bigger or better house to keep up with the jones...well he doesnt either for that matter he just wants closer to his work.  Right now I drive 50 min east of our house to Richmond and hes driving 1 hr and 15 min to the east at the Airport!!! Im suprised u have any 26's to sell....figured u would have taken those to the clothing exchanges by now...I dont have any at this point except my before pants and the dress I wore on my first date with my husband....Dont even know why Im saving it....but I am.  Silly I know, not like I'll be wearing it next month on our anniversery....lol

Oh.....I wish I knew where you were, since I love yard sales, and you posted some things I need! hehe Of course, DH would beg to differ and say I don't need a thing!   Today is going to be a fun day.  After church, the girls, and one of their friends that spent the night with us, are going to Loogootee to a   corn maze.  I didn't  get to attend last year when DH took the kids, so this year, I am going. At least this year, I won't have to worry about mud. Last time they went, it was so muddy, one of the little boys that went, lost one of his   shoes and his daddy had to DIG into the mud to find it! LOL They all came home, and we had to hose them all off outside before they could come in! Tomorrow is my youngest one's field trip to Huber Orchard, and I am going as an assistant. We love going there, and have been many times in the year that we have lived here now! It is a great experience for everyone, young and old alike. If you are ever near Louisville, and want to stop in, please do, you will really enjoy it. Have a wonderful day, I will be around for a bit still this morning, if anyone needs me!  

Hi Pam.  Nice pic update.  Hope you are doing well.  I haven't heard from you in awhile.  Bet you are as busy as I am.  We have a couple of trips planned for October.  Gatlinburg (again) and then we want to do a long camping weekend the week of our anniversry (18th) .I think I'm free the day of the clothing exchange and I'm hoping to make it.  I was just looking over my closet this morning and seeing things that need to go.  I'm into the 14's I picked up at the last exchange I went to so I guess I need to find a couple of 12's to work at as a goal.   Today we are going to visit a friend.  Talk about someone with bad luck.  He is such a nice guy. First his with started running around with another guy and left him and took their 8 kids.  Now he was stuck with all th house payments,RV payments and child support.  The next rotten break was someone stole and wrecked his truck and took most of his tools out of it (he is an electrician)   The only thing he had left to drive was a big surburban which really sucks gas so he was doing most of his running on a moped.  Last week while on it he got run over by some guy in a big van.  He has a broken ankle and messed up shoulder.  We are taking him a care package and some cash (put in by us and some other friends)  Reminds me of the old song from Hee Haw ( If it werne't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all)  Makes me more grateful each day of all the blessings in my life. Thanks God

Good to hear from you Jan,  I missed you at the clothing exchange yesterday.  They had so many beautiful clothes...Ppl would bring in tons and then leave....They brough in really nice clothes too and many were left when I left there...tons on mens dress clothes too.  It was a shame to see all those clothes just not being used...I wish more pre ops and newly oped would have shown up. Im sorry to hear about your friend...he is definitally a country song in the making.  I bet your visit will do him some good.  I do take the time to read the posts everyday...I just feel like I never have much to say...I dont want to bore ppl with my boring life..  All I ever do is work at work and then come home and work on this house or work on eating....Since we dont have kids....we dont have to much excitement. I spent friday with my neice and nephew...most fun Ive had in a long time.  I bought my neice her homecoming dress on ebay....Of course I didnt tell her that was where I got it...she doesnt know it was USED!!!  She took it yesterday to have it altered. Then my nephew was home from boot camp.  He looked so amazing...He had his uniform on and my baby looked all grown up...funny what a difference 3 months can make...  Hes so grown up now.   Well now that u are snoring...u can see why I dont post to much anymore....nothing much to talk about Pamela
