NEW DATE

Well Heather called me first thing this morning to get me scheduled for my ultra sound today, and made my new date for surgery.  So I will go in Thursday September 6 and have surger at 3, she was actually gonna get me in tomorrow morning but I asked her if thursday would work.  I felt bad cuz my 4 y.o. has been all excited for her first day of pre school which is tomorrow so I didnt want her to miss that.  I'm excited and nervous, I will be having this one open and part of my liver with be taken too.  So how many days do you stay in for when u have an open, does anybody know?  And is there anybody out there  that will be coming in that day or around then ?  Well thanks for all your guy's support so far, here soon I hope to posting what I'm losing

Ulisha,  I am so happy & excited for you- see, you on the other side of surgery!!!I am keeping you in my thoughts & prayers for a quick recovery.Just remember, every sip, every step, everything counts to your goal!!! I don't blame you a bit to want to be there for your daughters "BIG FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL"-take lots of photos, and celebrate the moment! Do you have someone who will post on here how you are doing, etc.? Keep us posted on all your big & small "WOW" MOMENTS- THERE ARE SO MANY AHEAD OF YOU!! ((hugs)) Ellen

Congrats on the new date.  Boy, they aren't wasting any time in getting you in this week, are they?!?!  That is awesome!  Take it easy tomorrow and don't overwork yourself in all the high anxiety about surgery! You will do just fine.

Ulisha, Glad to see you got a new date pretty fast.  Since your surgery isn't until 3, Brenda and I won't come to see you on Thursday.  We'll plan on stopping up Saturday morning to visit.  By then, you'll be alittle more alert from all the good drugs.  We both had open RNY.  We were in the hospital 4 days, but that was a  military hospital, you should only be there 3 days, I imagine.  Take care.  You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.  See you on Saturday. Thanks you guys. I was quite surprised that they really got me in this week but that is what Dr Diaz wanted so that makes me happy. Ellen I could probably get my husband to do it but I doubt it, who knows where he would end up posting lol.  It will probably wait until I get home. Floyd and Brenda said they would stop by so I'm sure they will let everybody know whats going on.  Well since its almost 1 am I guess I should go try to get some rest.  Thanks again
