i am not happy

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...

Hello..
My biggest complaint after surgery was that I too, was tired all the time. When I went to the Doctor for my one month visit he said it is VERY NORMAL to feel tired but it will pass. Here is how he explained it to me.
Before surgery, everything is hunky-dory because your body is getting enough food so it is “happy”.. After surgery.. your food level drops and your body “panics” because it thinks it is ‘starving to death’ so it goes into hibernation to help conserve the fat layer you have. The hibernation is what is causing the tiredness.. your body is trying to conserve so it does not want you to have an energy because energy burns fat and your body wants to KEEP the fat.
After awhile your body will finally “give up” trying to conserve and your energy level will increase as your body realizes it’s a losing battle. (pun intended)
Once my doctor explained that to me, it really made sense and the tiredness was easier to deal with. It took my body about 5 wks before it finally threw in the towel and my energy level returned.
I think if you give it a few more weeks, yours will return as well.. Just get headstrong with your body and tell yourself YOU are stronger then your body is and it just needs to get us to the fact that it’s not getting the food it got before. ;)
