Ulisha & Jeff ???

Has anyone heard an update yet?   I know it's early and I'm not sure what time their surgeries were scheduled.

Annette, Ulisha's surgery was at 8:30 and Jeff's is at 12:30.  Brenda and I are going up to see them both tonight and will post an update when we get home. Floyd

FLOYD, PLEASE LET THEM KNOW I AM PRAYING FOR A SPEEDY RECOVERY FOR THEM! Well here is my update, I am at home.  I had the lap but it ended up just being like a exploritory lap.  When they got in there they found a mass on my liver, that we would of known about if I would of had a gall bladder and so that they would of done an ultrasound, but I didnt.  The mass is like the size of my 4 year olds fist.  I had a MRI and will find out about what it said hopefully tomorrow, but Dr. Diaz said that I will still have my surgery but it will have to be next week and it will be OPEN RNY instead of the lap. He will then take the mass of my liver too.  He kept saying that there wasn't anything to worry about that he thinks it has something to do with birthcontrol that I took, but its been years since I was on that.  I dont know, but I got my 4 holes and some pain but no little pouch today.  So I'm not sure about Jeff, I slept to much to even ask.  He joked about not making his surgery late so, I guess I didnt lol.  I am quite disappointed but what can you do.  Dr Diaz said he knows that I already scheduled time from work for this so he would get me in next week. The nurses said that he has blocked time on tuesdays for his surgeries so I'm gonna assume that I will probably try again next tuesday.  I will let everybody know what day I will be going this time.  Thanks Floyd for attempting to come and see me but I'm sure you at least got to see Jeff, I hope his day went better then mine

OH ULISHA,  I AM REALLY SORRY FOR THIS "BLIP ON THE MAP " OF YOUR ROAD TO RECOVERY!! THANKFULLY DR. DIAZ FOUND IT, AND KNOWS WHAT TO DO TO CORRECT IT! I KNOW YOU MUST BE DISSAPOINTED, BUT HANG IN THERE- TUESDAY IS COMING GAL!!! REST UP AND GET READY CAUSE THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE IS COMING !!!YOU'LL BE DOING LAPS AROUND THE BARIATRIC FLOOE SOON!
