Dr. Bergman called.....
I know I dont know you but I am excited for you!!! Maybe I am excited for you cuz I want all that done!
You are going to once again feel like a BRAND NEW PERSON!!! Did your insurance cover the cost? If so that would be all the better, if not it is a great decision to make you feel GREAT about yourself...
Good Luck, and that is great about the glasses. I wouldnt know what to do if my vision went... I feel for Bill(Im guessing that is your husband or bf). So, that is 2 exciting things to happen to your family in the last few days...
Megan,
Thank you sweetie. Yes, Bill is my husband. I forget that the new people on here doesn't have a clue about who he is or his eye problems. Bill was born with an eye condition (anaretia) which has caused a host of problems. He has no vision at all in his right eye and has been strugling to keep/get some vision in his left. He finally had an artificial cornea transplant ~January because human donor ones kept failing. Then this spring, he had to have a new shunt put in because his pressure got too high (his old one failed). After that one, he totally lost all vision for a few weeks (scary!!) but has been gaining it back. Now that his vision is somewhat stabalized, Dr. Price gave him the thumbsup to get a new glasses script. That alone was a huge woo-hoo. But to be able to read an address label and his cell phone buttons? Way more than he expected (or me)! So..now we have fingers crossed that the lab is able to match the exam lens. He hasn't been able to read without his magnifying reader for about 6 years.
As for me, we aren't sure yet if the insurance will cover any of it at all. Maybe the panni part...but probably not the rest. If not, I will be. All I have to do is look down when I'm nude and know that it will be SO worth it. So...September will be tummy & thighs and next March, breast lift & implants.
