hope you guys have a lovely day...enjoy the sun (if you can)...and stay out of the rain, if you get any...it's supposed to be muggy and humid here today :( hugs, Jen

I keep telling myself everything happens for a reason but:::last night I could not see the reason, We had this house built in 1996 and last night around 5 pm we heard a boom, my husband looked and said I can't see what could have fallen. Well he didn't look in our master bedroom closet because when I was going to get ready for bed I saw my robe nearly on the floor and thought that was odd. the whole darn closet (which is closetmaid by the way) had come loose from the wall and the entire shelf came off the wall. What a darn mess. Well today I have been going through my clothes, which by the way is all that fell. Well needless to say I have alot of things that are not going back into the closet. I have a stack to try on still and my bed is about half full of things that are going, going, gone. I am not sure what I am going to have to wear but I am now on the losers bench (I think) because I weighed myself on Monday and had lost by my scales 2 whole pounds from surgery morning then combine that with the 9 1/2 I gained while in the hospital so a total of 11 pounds from discharge day. I may be one of the slow losers and keep the same clothes for quite some time yet, but oh well, I know what is going back in this closet fits now and none is TOO big and none is outdated and too small.

Sue, I was 344 & a size 26W the day of my surgery. It seemed like it took forever to start going down in sizes, but once I started, I was changing sizes every 2-3 months (about once per season!). I'm sure you will too. Don't forget that the clothing exchange is coming up on the 4th! Great time to unload your 'too bigs' for some 'just rights' and 'pretty soons'! Sherri

I was thinking that as I kept stacking things in the pile of not wants anymore. I am not sure what would be useful for anyone else because I have a hobby of sewing and alot of my clothes are made to fit my body. But maybe someone can find things that fit. I want to come to the exchange but I am not sure what is on the agenda for that day yet. It seems we have something every weekend from now to the 2nd weekend of September. I will have to bring my helper with me as I am still on the 10 pound weight restriction. I go back to work on Monday if I get up in time. I will only have had to use 11 sick days for this surgery and it has been nice sleeping in till about 730 - 800 every day instead of being at work at 800 am.

Hey everyone!!!!!

This week has been just awful for me.. I'm glad I didn't start my new job this week that's for sure. Monday was my 7 year anniversary with my hubby, we are flat broke so it consisted of an I love you and I made his favorite dinner, but we'll get to that. During the day I went shopping with my mom and grandma to buy a dress for my sisters wedding. I was looking in the $30.00 range but they insisted I get something fancier, they bought me a dress that costs $150.00 and is beautiful but i'm only going to wear it one time... I thought that was a bit ridiculous... oh well not myu money... And through the day I kept feeling sicker and sicker my head was filling up with crap, my ears hurt and by the time I got home I felt like crapola... I was thinking I can take a nap before I have to cook dinner for david for our anniversary... WRONG.. I walk in and the dog would not put any weight on his back leg... I got down and started looking at it and it looked really funny, was swollen and felt "different" than the other one.. so after a 4 hour visit to the emergency vet off of emerson on the south side I found out his leg is broke. He broke it playing ball outside with my husband earlier that day, he thinks he's an acrobat and has to catch the ball before it hits the ground especially if it bounces and he fell on it weird. So he's in a cast for 8 weeks... my poor baby
So I get home from that and went to make my husband his Pad Thai and got it done on the table and saw that I had forgot the peanut sauce... I just went outside and bawled... I've spent the past two days recovering from my sickness by sleeping the whole time and babying my 70 lb baby with his broken leg.. On the upside my husband did bring me home a dozen pink roses for our anniversary which was awesome...

I feel great today just a likttle stuffy in the head but I don't feel sick and I'm coughing but that's to be expected this is the first time I've been sick in 3 years... so i guess i can't complain too much...

The day started out like all days...a trip to the potty, a trip to the scale, a trip to the closet, a trip to the Stationary Bike  kitchen and a trip to the treadmill. I'm trippin!     Treadmill It is muggy outside becuz the rain came but did not cool anything down. (Thank God for AC) I am greatful that these temps. will only last a few months in Indy instead of the 7-8 months in P'cola. Work is pretty much the same as everyday. I am doing my very best to get ALL of my fluids in and I am doing better. This weekend is my best friends birthday party which I am planning so I have lots to do. I am greatful for another opportunity at......today!   Kisses
