I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
WELCOME TO THE LOOSERS BENCH. ITS A WILD RIDE HOLD ON TIGHT. i was able to eat sf jello and milk the day i came home. i would mix 1 cup of skim milk with 1/3 cup of powdered milk and a packet of crystal light orange sunrise and it was like having a dreamcicle . i loved it. and it counted to your water intake as well as protien. good luck vicki
Hi,
Welcome to the losing side of life!! Your journey has just begun- theres many big & little victories on their way for you!!
Did you get a sheet that told you what to have from the Dietician/hospital? I had the shake St. V's dieticians reccommended; chicken broth; mash potato(instant with low sodium chicken broth), diet pudding, pinto beans & cheese ( had hubby get them from Taco Bell for me), and Isopure in Pinapple -orange flavor over crushed ice.
Wishing you all the best & keep posting your progress & questions.

no my dr didnt give us a list of foods we can have and not. they just have us on stages. they want us to have 1.5 ozs protein at every meal and then 1 oz of vegs or fruit at every meal. we get 3 meals a day and then he want us to have 8 ozs of 1% milk or yogurt with fruit on the side. and then 1 protein powder drink.
they really dont say anything about what we cant have.
