Warning!! Pool Party--don't judge me by my weeds!!

Tania,  Thanks for having us all over today.  It ended up being a great day and Im fried like bacon....but that was my own stupid fault.  I had a blast.  I wasnt going to do any shopping but on the way home I spotted that goodwill on 31 and jumped across 3 lanes of traffic so I could stop in...guess my headach wasnt bad enough to keep me out of there...but I did skip the Old time Pottery store.  I got home about 7 or so...and laided down. Everyone who didnt come missed out on a beautiful day and lots of wonderful food.  Im going to try and have a cookout this fall but Andy and I need a little more time to get this house under control before I have to many over.

It was good seeing all the regulars and great to meet a few new ppl (Kelly and Jules).  You guys are all great!!!  Hope to see u all again soon.   Pamela ps...Brenda, Thanks for the chicken salad, I look forward to taking it to work this week for lunch.  Please email the recipe...well make Floyd do it instead of flirting with those fiftys lady...the stud needs a rest....LOL

Tania, I echo Pamela's thanks.  It was a great time and loved seeing and meeting everyone.   I didn't think I got burned, but I'm not quite lobster red!  Looking forward to seeing everyone again.  Glad you young'ens don't  mind an old lady joining in. Julie

Floyd - can you send me those recipes we talked about from the nutritionist? Floyd/Brenda/Julie - will definitely see you at the next Clarian meeting, should I not get lost. Pamela - you are a hoot!  Are you off the float now? Vicki - Well, I've already forgotten your husband's name (sorry!), but it was great meeting you both!  Keep taking care of yourself! OMG....Is this "the" Kelly!!!  Did u really post on the board?  I think Im still dreaming.   Yes I did finally get off the float ... as soon as u left.  I just was staying on it to keep u off of it...LOL.  you float stealer you. I had a headach and look liked a burt on my front side by the time I left.  By the time 8 pm was here I was looking very much like a lobster or sizzling bacaon.  I hope u didnt get to red. Today Im off to Kohls to get me a hat...similar to yours,  so I wont end up with a fried face at my family reunions this week...one of them is having a pool party.  Im sure it was be as fun as being with u....maybe u should tag along with us.  You can entertain my family with your butt exercises...lol Im hoping to get Floyds recipes too.  I guess hes forgot about us and hes to busy being the stud man in the over 50 room...with all those old uncontolable women...LOL If I get the chicken chili salad today Im making it for my family reunion tomorrow Tania...I bought 2 lemon pepper roasted chickens at Kroger yesterday to make the while chili with.  Im so glad u gave me that hint.  I'll let u know how it works out for me. I hope u all have a great 4th of July and Vicki dont work to hard...Make Jim do all the work and u just supervise....Thats what I do to Andy and then "We" take the credit for all the great work....LOL Pamela

I just got back and we had a really good time.  We went to Goodwill and then Kohls and last we went to Lowes.  At Kohls I got the hat and then my sweet hubby bought me a pair of sandles that are just so darn cute ....in the juniors dept.... They are Candies.  They have a bit of a heel but I really liked them.  I'll have to see what my neice says about them tomorrow.  After all Im older than u are and wearing shoes a 16 yr old should have on.....but Ive not had heels since high school so this will be an adventure.

Ohh Andy and I did stop by Kroger and got some porterhouse steaks to fix tonight on the grill and some Vidala onions...so we will have that before we head to the fireworks.  Im off till Sunday night. I am feeling much better now too.  My sunburn is now pink...not red.  IM glad to hear yours is better.  Im hoping my new hat will protect me tomorrow.  I'll have to send u a picture of it. Hoping you do post again before Christmas....lol Pamela
