Warning!! Pool Party--don't judge me by my weeds!!

Hello fellow loosers.  Well, my plan was to get the lawn mowed, weeds pulled, and have the yard spruced up for the party.  I could make a lot of excuses, but the fact is I hate yard work!!!  I thought it would get better after loosing weight, but no luck so far.  I need to apply for the lawn makeover programs!   So, be fair warned.  Let's see I have a small Bradford pear forest growing in the front yard due to having the tree cut down and these darn things sprouting from the roots.  Thistle LOVES my yard and the bare sticks seen in the back of the yard are LAST YEAR's dead thistle.  The wind blew over my A-frame swing and broke part of the frame and it's too heavy for me to get out of there myself---will have to wait until my step-father comes to help me.  Then.....................................well, you get the idea. Focus on the pool!!!!!!!!  It will look beautiful!! See ya tomorrow! Tania

I am not much on yard work either...however...I did weed the red petunias by the sidewalk in anticipation of all the losers driving by my house and saying...gee look at those weeds!! LOL I wish I could come especially with you being just around the corner from me! You all have a fabulous party! hugs! Marianne

Im so looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.  I have been working so hard on the new house and moving all our things that I need a day off.  Im sorry but I dont remember what time it starts.  I was wondering if there is a certian time we are supposed to be there and what time is it over????  Please let me know. We just our internet and cable hooked up yesterday and its not working....so they cant come bac****il tue the 10th to fix it...so I'll be going thur withdrawl from u all for another 2 weeks it looks like.  I'll try to check in when I can from friends and family....   Pamela

Hi Pamela,  I'm so glad you can still make it.  It's pretty open on ending time, but I figured if anyone wanted to get some sun, you are welcome to come around 11:00am.  Ya'll are welcome to stay as late as you want, I have no specific plans. Tania

Tania, I hope everyone has a good time today. I'm sorry about suggesting it and then not being able to make it myself. I would have loved a dip in the pool! And I would have loved visiting with my OH family even more!!!!  Weeds...hmmm...my rose garden is more weeds than rose bushes right now. I pay my son to come over and take care of the stuff I don't like to do. Planting  Weeding  LOL! Weeding around rose bushes??? That's when I call my son and yell  ! He's 24, unemployed, and always looking for a way to make a few bucks quick. So...yard work helps us both out. I hate weeding, he loves money! LOL! My flower beds looks horrible right now though because we haven't been home long enough to have him do the work.  I hate housework even more but I doubt he'd do a decent job removing the dust bunnies from everywhere!
