Thank you Angel!!!

Thank you so much for the Easter card and gift card!! This couldn't have come at a better time! I was crying this morning trying to get dressed because all my work pants are too big and I don't have the money to go get any new ones for awhile. You have literally covered my behind!! I need to thank my angel too. I got a card last week when I so needed it and a gift today.... I am burning the candle now and Andy enjoyed the candy she sent me....since Im post op and dont eat candy I let him eat it. Im to early out to be starting those bad habits again after all thats what got me here to begin with. He loved it!!! It was so kind of her to think of me. I loved the suprise. THANK YOU SAM, You enjoy that shopping spree. Sounds like u have an awesome angel. I know how expensive this clothes buying can get. Ive been buying my pants on Ebay... Andy hates it when I do that...hes like u dont know whos had their dirty hinny in those... So hes even offered to buy me a few pairs...but I wont let him spend 50.00 @ lane bryant for something I'll only wear for a month when I can get them for 5.00 on ebay and 3.00 at Goodwill. I never realized how expensive Lane Bryant and Fashion Bug etc were until I needed clothes so often! Pants are fitting weird now so I can't do the Ebay thing. The waist will be big, the hip parts will be tight (because of skin issues) and then the legs will be huge. So I am now an avid Wal-Mart shopper. However the best pants I find come from Old Navy! So I'll be heading that way come Saturday or Sunday. Glad to see Andy got to enjoy your Angel gift! Sam

Yeah hes enjoying it...but then he blames me hes gaining wt...since he has to clean up all my leftovers....lol Hes such a tight wad he cant just throw my left over food out. I did get him today to get a box for his food today. I ordered my to go box with my food and he got his plate and it was huge...I told him even someone with a normal stomach has no business eating that much food. I know I used to think they gave us a portion size...Now I know better. So he brought home 1/2 of his food and 90 percent of mine. I was so proud of him. Hes also been off of soda and coffee for 2 weeks now....hes on a water kick ...but he hates having to go to the bathroom all the time. Carmens husband did well losing wt with her...becouse she cooked healthier..but since I dont cook and we eat out so much...plus we are on different shifts and often eat at different times... Andys been gaining...until the last 2 weeks...hes doing so much better. I think now that I finally wt less than him is making him think he better start doing better....lol

Ron lost 25 pounds with my surgery and he actually couldnt afford to.. He eats a big bowl of icecream every night before bed. The Dr said it is good for him,,,, I told her you never said that to me!!!! Now just thinking about eatting icecream makes my tummy cramp...I have tried it and icecream just aint what it used to be..so why try, My husband will eat left overs until I throw them out!! I have certain rules about how long a food will stay in the fridge.. We usually split a meal when we go out so as not to waste. Linda
